LB, Brock Schenck, Bordentown
6’2 200
Mr. Schenck was a tackling machine in 2021 and earned second team all-conference. Schenck is a really good tackler and takes good angles to the ball. Schneck finished the season collecting 57 tackles, 10 TFL’s and 5 sacks. He does a good job reading his keys and playing with good fundamentals. Schenck is tough with good hands to defeat blockers. Expect Schenck to be the leader of the defense.
LB, John Smith, Camden Catholic
6’2 198
Mr. Smith had a solid sophomore season. Smith has good size and length that can play numerous positions in the secondary. He finished the year collecting 25 tackles,2 TFL’s 1 sack, 1 forced fumble and a fumble recovery. He has good lateral quickness and nose for the football. Smith will be even better in 2022.
LB, Jeremiah Taylor, Winslow
6’0 200
Mr. Taylor is a player you should keep an eye on. He has tremendous upside heading into next season. Taylor finished the year collecting 26 tackles and one tackle for loss. He does a good job defeating blockers. Taylor has strong hands and good moves at the point of attack. He has good first step quickness and tackling ability. His experience will help mold him into a top linebacker in the state.
LB, Eric Loueiro, Colts Neck
5″11 205
Mr. Loueiro had a good season. He finished the year collecting 8 tackles and a sack. Loueiro took full advantage of his playing time and will build off this season in 2022. Loueiro has a good build with natural instincts and toughness. He showed flashes of playmaking ability. Loueiro will have a good offseason and prove he can compete with the best.
