1. Khamari Terrell Khamari Terrell 6'1" | 180 lbs | DB Shoemaker | 2022 State TX – Shoemaker High School (Killeen, TX)
Terrell has yet to commit but has received eight offers including from Baylor, Clemson, Florida, USC, and Mississippi State. Terrell is excellent on man coverage and making sure to break up the pass. However, he also has excellent hands for interceptions as well. While most defensive backs make mistakes always going for interceptions, Terrell just does his best to keep the ball away from the receiver. On top of his pass coverage, he also has the awareness to prevent a running play from turning disastrous for his team.
2. Josh Dixon Josh Dixon 5'11" | 170 lbs | DB McKinney | 2022 State TX – McKinney High School (McKinney, TX)
Dixon signed with Wyoming back on Dec. 15 but also received a total of 11 offers including from Air Force, Army, Houston Baptist, and Incarnate Word. Dixon is excellent in zone coverage and has both speed and power on his side. He is able to make a hit that breaks the ball loose and causes an incompletion. He is also able to race across the field to catch up with receivers going for a catch. His agility also helps him stay step for step with any receiver he is covering.
3. Kentrell Webb Kentrell Webb 5'11" | 180 lbs | DB Paetow | 2022 State TX – Paetow High School (Katy, TX)
Webb has also received multiple offers, with Air Force, Colgate, Houston Baptist, Lehigh, and New Mexico State just to name a few. Webb is an opportunist and has the awareness and film to back it up. He is able to pick off, deflect a pass, or get a bit hit to cause an incompletion with precision. He has excellent play recognition skills and is often where the ball will be. Webb is an athlete who is not afraid to take on any-sized running backs or fullbacks as well. He is underrated and definitely deserves more recognition.
4. Peyton Williams Peyton Williams 6'1" | 180 lbs | DB Rockwall-Heath | 2022 State TX – Rockwall-Heath High School (Rockwall, TX)
Williams signed with South Carolina on Dec. 15. Not only that but he received nine offers as well including Maryland, Akron, Colorado, and Florida State. His tape features all of the best plays a defensive back could have. It displays his awareness, his fantastic coverage, and his ability to create turnovers.
