David Tuliau David Tuliau 6'1" | 270 lbs | DL Jserra Catholic | 2023 CA , JSerra, OL/DL
JSerra improved vastly from the spring season but still needs to improve a bit to be a factor in the Trinity League. Tuliau is one of the players on JSerra that could play at any school and be a contributor. He is very strong, drives his feet through contact and is an excellent puller. He gets down the field on screens and moves very well for his size. In pass protection, he has good vision for blitzers, keeps his chest out and his hips square. No Division 1 offers yet for Tuliau but Oregon State has been in contact.

Gabe Morin, Orange Lutheran, LB
Orange Lutheran struggled on defense during its Division 2 championship run but there were some talented players on that defense when you watch the film. Morin was the team’s leading tackler and is one of the more versatile linebackers in the league. He is better in pass coverage than most linebackers and he spies the quarterback well. He knows how to hit and is a great tackler. Morin covers a lot of the field for an inside backer and has sideline-to-sideline speed. He has no Division 1 offers but I expect that to change this offseason after the camp and showcase circuit.

Bain Eiseman Bain Eiseman 6'0" | 175 lbs | WR Inglewood | 2024 State CA , Santa Margarita, WR
Eiseman transferred to Santa Margarita from Mater Dei last summer and I expect him to be one of the top receivers in the county in a year or two. He is already an excellent deep threat and can make plays after the catch. He does a surprisingly good job on 50/50 balls for someone as small as he is. There is a clip on his highlight reel where he beats a Bosco safety who has Power 5 offers on a tip drill for a touchdown. Head coach Anthony Rouzier was impressed with Eiseman when I talked to him before the Division 1 quarterfinal game against Servite.

Kitione Talavou Kitione Talavou 6'3" | 230 lbs | DL Servite | 2023 State CA , Servite, DE
Talavou is a really fun defensive end to watch and could be one of the best edge rushers in the county next season. He is a rugby guy and is great with his hands on his pass rush. Servite mixes up its fronts and he can squeeze down and play 3-technique sometimes but it’s clear he is most valuable as an edge rusher. He is quick off the ball and often stops the run due to his quickness and sneaking into gaps on slants. He is lengthy and could even add some muscle without sacrificing his athleticism.

RJ Jones RJ Jones 6'1" | 190 lbs | DB St. John Bosco | 2023 State CA , St. John Bosco, DB
I know his stock was already very high entering the season but I feel like Jones doesn’t get as much media attention as the other stars on the Bosco defense. Jones flies up the field when stopping the outside run game. He is a hard hitter who punishes people when making tackles. He works well with his teammates in the secondary and kind of reminds me of his teammate Sione Hala Sione Hala 6'2" | 200 lbs | DB St. John Bosco | 2022 State CA . He is well-known and probably overqualified to be on this list, but he really impressed me when I watched Bosco in person this season. He has visited USC, UCLA and Louisville.

Tanner Williams Tanner Williams 6'1" | 210 lbs | LB Mater Dei | 2024 State CA , Mater Dei, OLB
No player had his stock rise more in the playoffs than Williams. The sophomore edge rusher played opposite star David Bailey David Bailey 6'3" | 220 lbs | LB Mater Dei | 2022 State CA and was in the backfield just as often. 23 of his 27 tackles came in the playoffs and all 8.5 of his tackles for a loss were in the playoffs. It became clear that the Mater Dei coaching staff trusted him with a larger role later in the season and he took advantage of his opportunity. He is fast off the edge, has a good punch with his hands for someone who is nowhere near his physical peak yet, and has good instincts. With an offseason in the weight room, he could be the best pass rusher in the county next season.
