1. Chernet Estes Chernet Estes 6'0" | 170 lbs | DB Lake Travis | 2022 State TX (SR-WR) – Lake Travis High School (Austin, TX)
Stats: 7 receptions, 95 receiving yards, 2 receiving touchdowns
Estes displayed excellent route-running abilities and great speed. He was especially effective on short and deep routes and judging by his numbers was a constant problem for Brennan. Estes was one of junior quarterback Bo Edmundson Bo Edmundson 6'3" | 185 lbs | QB Lake Travis | 2023 State TX ’s favorite targets all game. Not only did Estes show his own talents but just the depth that Lake Travis has at the wide receiver position.
2. Derrick Johnson Derrick Johnson 5'11" | 190 lbs | DB Lake Travis | 2022 State TX (SR-RB) – Lake Travis High School (Austin, TX)
For Johnson, he was once again an absolute workhorse on the rushing attack. He was able to find holes often in the defensive line and once he got going he was difficult to take down. Multiple Brennan defenders would try and tackle him with no success. Once more, Johnson also had a 90+ yard touchdown run where he cleared the field in seconds. He is easily one of the best running backs in Central Texas.
3. Bo Edmundson Bo Edmundson 6'3" | 185 lbs | QB Lake Travis | 2023 State TX (JR-QB) – Lake Travis High School (Austin, TX)
Stats: 322 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns
Edmundson had another excellent game. He made little to no mistakes and always kept the offense moving. He spread the ball around through the air and always kept the defense on their toes. He also showcased an excellent arm on the deep passes he threw as well.
4. Isaac Norris Isaac Norris 6'0" | 190 lbs | QB Lake Travis | 2022 State TX (SR-WR) – Lake Travis High School (Austin, TX)
Stats: 2 rushing touchdowns, 9 receptions, 82 receiving yards
Norris was the favorite target for Edmundson and for good reason. Norris also showcased his excellent route-running skills but he also showed how effective he is at the goal line when just running the ball. Norris is just a scoring machine, even though he was kept from receiving touchdowns in this game. Lake Travis is deadly from the receiver position.
