– QB, 2023, Mater Dei Catholic
Nankil has shown steady improvement throughout his junior season guiding MDC to the state title. He looked comfortable and confident in the pocket throwing for 297 yards and a TD. He’s a QB with underrated arm talent that can stretch defenses vertically and shows consistent accuracy on his intermediate-deep throws. Nankil has the tools and makeup of an effective spread QB at the next level and will be a name to watch next season.

Jeremiah McClure Jeremiah McClure 6'2" | 195 lbs | WR Mater Dei Catholic | 2023 State CA – WR, 2023, Mater Dei Catholic
McClure looked the part of a major D-I WR prospect serving as a consistent target throughout the game. He’s a smooth athlete who creates separation in his routes and finishes with elite ball skills. He challenges DBs downfield with explosive burst at the LOS and D-I speed over the top. McClure has offers from Michigan, Arizona, and USC setting him up as one of the top WRs in the state heading into next season.
Nico Mosley- RB, 2023, Mater Dei Catholic
Mosley led MDC’s ground game with 3 rushing TDs behind a strong performance from the OL unit. He’s a smaller, more agile back with great speed and athleticism. He gets outside the tackles quickly and is a difficult player to tackle in space. MDC returns both pieces of their state-championship backfield in Nankil and Mosley next season.

Aiden Taylor- RB, 2022, Central Catholic
Taylor was the workhorse back for Central Catholic rushing for 198 yards and 2 TDs including a 71-yard TD before leaving in the second half. Taylor is a bruising back at 5’11” 205 lbs., who runs with power and balance. He hits the hole hard and has deceptive speed and burst in space. Taylor was a near 2,000 yard rusher on the season with 36 TDs on the ground.
Julian Lopez- RB, 2022, Central Catholic
Lopez is another bruising back who rushed for over 100 yards and 2 TDs in the championship game. He’s a punishing runner between the tackles that can physically dominate defenses with size and power. He and Taylor led one of the most effective rushing attacks in the state this season.
