Key Offensive Players
RB Tyler Conrad- Conrad started at running back for Bedford this season. He came up big in the win over Ypsilanti Lincoln. Conrad had 172 yards rushing on 25 carries to go along with 2 touchdowns.
WR Connor Laskey- Laskey had a great 25-yard touchdown reception against Ann Arbor Huron. He also had a 65-yard touchdown reception in the Ypsilanti Lincoln win.
QB Brendan Hammer- All season long, Brendan Hammer was great at the quarterback position. Hammer runs the offense well and was able to find the end zone consistently this year. Hammer showed the ability to make timely throws all season long. Brendan Hammer was one of the toughest players I watched this season, taking a lot of hits and just continuing to get up and keep competing.
RB Randy Boisselle Randy Boisselle 5'8" | 195 lbs | RB Temperance Bedford | 2022 MI – Boiselle did a great job not only getting Bedford tough yardage but also showing the ability to create big plays. Boisselle was one of the most physical running backs I saw all season, showing the strength and power to completely run over defenders.
Key Defensive Players
LB Trey Brueggemann- Brueggemann is a guy that really jumps off the tape. He shows the ability to read plays very quickly and shoot gaps. Brueggemann is a fundamentally sound tackler who is hard to escape from. He is only a junior and will be a key returner for Bedford next season.
LB Gabe Johnson- Johnson was very good on the defensive side of the football. He is a very tough hard-hitting linebacker. Johnson came up with the game-winning stop in the win over Dexter.
Final Takeaways
Bedford will return Brueggemann and several other starters next season despite losing many senior starters. They will have a new starting quarterback. It will likely be Caleb Kochendoerfer who got snaps at quarterback this season. Thomas Huss will return next year at the defensive end position. Huss is a guy who can get pressure on the quarterback. Bedford is always one of the most physical football teams in the state of Michigan. They are a team that even if you beat them you will feel it the next day. Watch out for Temperance Bedford next season.
