The Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase was a fun and it was a great way for Nebraska and Iowa kids to show off for the college coaches and scouts. So many great athletes showed off their skills and talents. One of the best positions that showed off was the Quarterbacks. We had 19 QBs and they showed off their skills. Out of the 19 QBs i have picked out 4 who I think who really went off. My four are [player_tooltip player_id="164350" first="Dylan" last="Amick"], [player_tooltip player_id="245898" first="Carter" last="Janssen"], [player_tooltip player_id="163780" first="Brodey" last="Johnson"] and [player_tooltip player_id="236546" first="Madden" last="Riggs"]. These four are ones who really impressed me with how they practiced.

Dylan had a great day showing off his skills at the Showcase especially in our testing phase of the show case. Amick ran a 4.80 40 yard dash and a 9’2 broad jump. Along with this his throwing skills were unmatched and were consistent. Throughout the showcase he was one of the most impressive of all the quarterbacks. The thing I have noticed the most about Amick is his consistency he throws at the same with every game and with the showcase. He always throws on point and can change and makes really good decisions and accuracy with how he throws.

Janssen is a player that I didn’t get to see during the regular season and I wish I could have. He was able to get the ball out fast and far in not that much time. His test scores were also very good as well, running a 4.58 40 yard dash and a 9’3" broad jump. His speed is also something that he could use to his advantage. He knows where to put the ball for his receivers and that will make him deadly on any field.

Johnson looks like he has already been playing college football for years yet he still has a year of highschool ball to show off. We discussed this when talking about who some of our top QBs were and we were amazed at how professional he was when throwing. He ran a 5.0 40 yard dash along with a 8’7" broad jump. Though not as impressive as the other quarterbacks but when you get to throwing and decision making Brodey is the best of the best. He has a great arm and it shows how much work he had put into his strength.

Madden hasn’t been able to play much in highschool but he has made a big impact in our eyes. He has skills that will improve and be amazing once they get to the top of their potential. He ran a 4.88 40 yard dash and had an 8’ 2" broad jump. What really impressed me was his arm and how easy it was for him to sling the ball wherever he wants. In his film he rushes everywhere just as much as he throws and this capability will make him so fromitable dual threat QB. The amount of talent in someone is only a Freshman.
