This circuit leads to the invite only All State Preps elite showcase JUn.5th, hosted by Prep RedZone’s, and 247sports very own Ed Obrien. The staff includes some of the best in the Mid-Atlantic including Oscar Smiths DB Coach, Coach Eddie, Good Counsels WR Coach, Coach Miles, and RH QB Academy’s Coach Aaron. The stars were in attendance, let’s take a look at who stood out the most amongst the group. .
QB MVP’s:
Noah Brannock Noah Brannock 6'0" | 200 lbs | QB Calvert Hall | 2023 State MD | 2023| Calvert Hall
Noah came in and looked the part of a veteran and performed like he’s done all of the drills before. During the mobility drills he maintained a solid, balanced base, keeping his feet in perfect position to let it rip at any instance. Noah’s performance was no surprise as we watched him lead Calvert Hall to a MIAA State Championship this past season. Throwing for 1800+ yards and 25+ TD’s. He’s on pace to have a huge senior season, as the entire state anticipates.

Kendell Anderson Kendell Anderson 6'3" | 180 lbs | QB Blair | 2023 State MD | 2023 | Blair
Offers: Morgan State (One day after this showcase)
Kendell really showed off his accuracy at this showcase in all drills. During mobility and foot work and drills he hit his target sqaure in the chest in every rep. During one on ones he threw maybe the most perfect deep ball at the entire camp, getting “Ooo’s” and “Aaah’s” from the players and crowd. Anderson is just bursting onto the scene and becoming a familiar face, don’t be surprised if he is a well-known name in the class of 2023 by the middle of the summer. Last season Anderson made history leading his school to the state quarterfinals for the first time.

WR MVP:
Ryan Manning Ryan Manning 5'10" | 170 lbs | WR St. Frances | 2023 State MD | 2023 WR | St. Francis
Offers: Alabama A&M, Howard Univ. (One day after the showcase).
Ryan put himself ahead of the rest for sure. He displayed elite level footspeed and quickness leaving defenders stuck in their back pedal. Very impressed with his stopping on a dime ability; on his in routes, he stops so abruptly it almost looks like he moves backwards as the DB floats by him. Getting hands on is a must, with a free release Manning will beat the DB with his speed alone 9/10 times. Manning had a breakout year for Bowie Highschool this past season with 1000+ receiving yards and 13 TD’s. Manning is finishing his high school career at national powerhouse St. Francis Academy.

Dominic Dorwart | 2024 WR | St. Mary’s Ryken
Dorwart caused havoc for DB’s with the little things. He’s not the biggest, fastest or strongest receiver yet but he wants more than his competition. He attacks the ball on every route, on comebacks he run back toward the quarter back, on short crossing routes he’s physical and uses his hands to get open and protects the ball by boxing out defenders. His confidence is very high, and he has the skill set to back it up. He actively searched for the best competition calling out the top DB’s at the camp and winning majority of his reps. He started on varsity as a sophomore and produced like a senior vet.

Samir Miller | 2023 | Pleasantville HS, New Jersey
The most dynamic athlete in attendance participating and dominating in the early RB/LB group then staying to participate in the WR/DB session. As a RB Miller could not be stopped, he’s too quick, fast, and elusive for LB’s to keep up with, they’re lucky if they can get a finger on him.
Jamal Worrell | 2023 | Blair
Worrell is an emerging star in the DC/Prince Georges County public school league. Physically, Worrell is ready for the next level now. He’s creative with his route running creating space with his feet. He does a great job of using his size and strength to bully smaller DB’s. He possesses all the skills you want in a receiver; he can beat defenders with, speed, strength, and even jump and high point the ball over defenders.

Oliver Redd | 2024 | Calvert Hall
Very impressing footwork and stemming in his routes. He runs his routes as if he’s running a completely different route consistently. Once he’s in a defender’s blind spot that’s when he makes his break. Redd catches the ball with ease like he absorbs the ball with his hands. Last season he played on the Championship Cardinals offense contributing mostly on special teams but managed to get some play at receiver as a sophomore. Keep an eye out for this name, with Brannock as his quarterback, they can be a deadly tandem.

RB MVP:
Kyle Williams | 2023 | Harrisburg HS, PA
Kyle Williams showed to be a do it all back in the drills that were performed. He dominated in both the cat mouse drill and one on ones out of the back field. The best part about his performance is that he used football moves that could realistically be used in live gameplay. He doesn’t dance or get stuck trying to shake the defender, he puts his foot in the ground and gets separation. Williams passes the eye test, he looks the part of an explosive runningback, at about 6’0 185-190lbs.
OL MVP:
Logan Bennett Logan Bennett 6'5" | 295 lbs | OL St. Frances | 2024 State MD | 2024 | St. Francis Academy
Offers: Colorado, Maryland, Boston College
Bennett is already the size of most lower level D1 offensive linemen but is an athlete. There was an explosiveness and movement drill the linemen group did early on in the showcase, where they laid flat on their stomach and had to pop up and accelerate through the line laterally to their right. Bennett finished first every single time, getting up and exploding with ease. TOUGH. Bennett had some reps that caused a bloody nose, but he stuffed it with some tissue, got right back in rotation, and finished the day the top dog.
