Not only did they put up an undefeated 15-0 season, but they blew out most of their competition along the way. This included a season total of 558 points, while also holding opposing teams to a mere 83 points all season. If this does not tell you the kind of season that the Eagles managed to have, we don’t know what will. Along the way, star studded prospects continued to shine on a whole new level, while also separating themselves from competing positional players across the state, and country. Below, as a result of their dominant 24-8 victory over Milton last Saturday, plenty of players managed to rack up impressive, and standout statistics. Feel free to take a look below at some of our favorites.
Travis Hunter Travis Hunter 6'1" | 165 lbs | ATH Collins Hill | 2022 State GA – (WR/ DB)
Last Saturday, Travis Hunter Travis Hunter 6'1" | 165 lbs | ATH Collins Hill | 2022 State GA had another big game to close out the year, as he had 10 receptions, and 153 yards. With this, he had an average of 15.3 yards a catch, with a 50 yard TD as well. When it was all said and done, his last performance for Collins Hill was a great once, as he added to a season total of 1,128 yards and 10 TD’s.
Sam Horn Sam Horn 6'4" | 190 lbs | QB Collins Hill | 2022 State GA – (QB)
The Missouri commit continued to lead the siege for his team, as he not only helped them into victory this past week, but he managed to pass for 261 yards. With this, he also went 22 for 33 in the air, with 2 TD’s, and 1 interception. This high level of efficiency was a consistent part of his season, and a big reason for his team’s success. To wrap up the year, he passed for 3,708 yards and 35 TD’s, with an average of 264.9 yards a game.
Asani Redwood- (DE)
Asani Redwood, who may not be well known by many, managed to achieve a lot last weekend as he had 7 total tackles, and 4 assists. As a result, he finished up the year as one of the most successful players on his defense, as he totaled 116 tackles. Out of all of these, 71 of these were solo. In addition to all of this, Redwood capped off an incredible year that witnessed him achieve 19 sacks, and 59 hurries.
Spenser Anderson- (RB/ LB)
During the state championship game, alongside Travis Hunter Travis Hunter 6'1" | 165 lbs | ATH Collins Hill | 2022 State GA , Anderson continued to do his part to help his team to a championship victory. In this game, he had 6 receptions for 74 yards, with an average of 12.3 yards a catch. In addition to this, he also caught a TD, only adding to his season total of 16 TD’s. He also capped off a season total of 655 yards.
Aaron Horton- (S)
Safety, Aaron Horton, was a force for the Eagle’s defense last season as he racked up a total of 10 tackles, with 2 of them being for a loss. These 10 tackles added to a season total of 53 tackles, with 48 of them being solos. With this, he also racked up 2 sacks all season, with an interception and 2 caused fumbles.
Deon Crawford- (LB)
Last Friday, Deon Crawford put on a show as he had 8 solo tackles, with 2 of them being for a loss. As a whole, he wrapped up a very successful season, where he managed to have a total 86 tackles, with an average of 6.1 tackles a game. With this, Crawford also racked up 13.5 sacks this season.
