Travis Hunter Travis Hunter 6'1" | 165 lbs | ATH Collins Hill | 2022 State GA – ATH
Hunter is the top-ranked athlete in the country and proved why on Saturday night on the biggest stage. An elite 5-star WR and DB prospect, Hunter proved why he’s one of the best prospects to come out of the peach state in years, dominating once again on both sides of the ball. Hunter was excellent against an extremely stout Milton defense, catching 10 passes for 153 yards and one touchdown. He showed elite ball skills and already runs routes like a veteran D1 receiver. He’s quick, explosive, has a lean frame, and has a chance to score every time he touches the ball. Sam Horn Sam Horn 6'4" | 190 lbs | QB Collins Hill | 2022 State GA – QB
One of the top senior QBs in Georgia, Horn capped off a big senior season with a strong three-touchdown performance in the state championship against a very talented Milton defense. Horn wasn’t perfect, and did throw an INT right before the half, but his played really well overall and pushed the ball down the field. He was accurate, consistent, and showed he can make plays with his feet as well. Horn got the Eagles on the board early with a 10-yard TD pass to running back Spenser Anderson and the Eagles never looked back. The Missouri commitment scrambled for a 6-yard touchdown early in the 2nd half, giving Collins Hill a 14-0 lead. Asani Redwood – EDGE
One of the breakout players across the state, Redwood has been dominant off the edge and has been on of the top overall pass rushers across the state this year. A big-time defender, Redwood showed great burst off the snap and helped lead Collins Hill to a strong defensive performance. The Eagles couldn’t do much offensively and that’s because Redwood and others were attacking the passer and closing holes against the run. His recruitment is finally taking off, and after a big game in the state championship, it’s easy to see Redwood’s potential at the next level.
Spenser Anderson – RB
One of the biggest playmakers on the team, Anderson is a versatile back who got off to a hot start in the state championship. He catches the ball well, he’s elusive, and he was always a threat to score. He put Collins Hill on the board early on, catching a 10-yard pass in the 1st half for a score. He can break tackles, he shows good burst, and he can really take off if given space. His touchdown was big, and the Eagles never looked back after that.
Jaylen George Jaylen George 6'2" | 250 lbs | OL Collins Hill | 2022 State GA – LB
Like Redwood, George had a big game in the 7A title game, getting after the QB and helping lead the defense to one of their best games of the season. He showed quickness, strong instincts, and the ability to deliver a big hit when meeting the ball carrier. He flew to the ball and came up with a big sack early in the 3rd quarter.
