Grand Blanc DB JT Webber
I heard Webber’s name called quite a bit during all 3 of the Bobcat’s games I watched this season. He’s an excellent run-stuffing corner with demonstrated ability to cover good receivers. He’s also a beast in the special teams game returning punts. Overall he’s already a great defender that started on a semifinal team and shows potential on the offensive end.
Lapeer QB Zak Olejniczak
Olejniczak is a great quarterback with very impressive highlights. His tape is filled with beautiful throws at just about every part of the field. He throws a nice, powerful spiral in the short-mid range, and is able to throw some dimes down the field that has just the right amount of arc. He’s also very slippery in the pocket and will take off running, though I still think of him as a pro-style QB.
Powers Catholic T Dayvian Lantigua
Lantigua is a 6’5 255lb tackle which alone makes him stand out against the competition. He’s a pure tackle that can block good edge rushers and has some great awareness to him. As a sophomore varsity starter, he’s a great lineman with still much to improve, and I hope to see him take off in 2022.
Davison DE/TE Conner Cherney
Cherney was a good player on the JV team, though I am very interested in what he can do on the varsity level. Cherney isn’t a world-beater yet, but he shows great defensive awareness and ability now, with more potential at the tight end position. He’s a great size at 6’3 195lbs and he’ll be able to make some noise at the varsity level with a good body of work this offseason.
