2023 Top Returning Defensive Backs

<strong>#6 [player_tooltip player_id="243091" first="CJ" last="Ivy"] </strong>| Muskegon Mona Shores | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2GVrEc">Hudl</a> Ivy has really good speed and has shown the ability to get to another gear and run defenders down from behind. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="243091" first="CJ" last="Ivy"]</strong> has good hip fluidity and can effortlessly make plays on the football. Ivy has a good tackling technique and is not afraid to deliver a hard hit. <strong>#7 [player_tooltip player_id="30353" first="Torrence" last="Greene"] </strong>| Ann Arbor Huron | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/video/3/13357386/6159030eb018a2090c0ecdeb">Hudl</a> Greene was a guy I had on my radar heading into the 2021 season. He came through with an outstanding Junior season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="30353" first="Torrence" last="Greene"]</strong> has great ball skills and came down with multiple interceptions on the season. He takes proper angles and finishes his tackles. Greene is just one of the many great players on Ann Arbor Huron. His play helped get Huron to the playoffs and finish with an 8-2 record. <strong>#1 [player_tooltip player_id="30356" first="Isaac" last="Brady"] </strong>| Whitmore Lake | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2Fg9se">Hudl</a> Brady shows the speed and athletism to be able to run stride for stride with opposing receivers. He has a strong muscular build and uses his strength to physically tackle opponents. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="30356" first="Isaac" last="Brady"] </strong>was part of the main reason Whitmore Lake made it to the playoffs this season. Brady will look to continue his stellar defensive play next season as a senior. <strong>#4 [player_tooltip player_id="162652" first="Amare" last="Snowden"] </strong>| Roseville | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2GLR7c">Hudl</a> Snowden is a beast. He has some of the best ball skills you will see in a high school football player. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="162652" first="Amare" last="Snowden"]</strong> has several plays where he comes down with the interception with ease. Defensive backs are coached from a young age to locate the ball and then make a play. That is something Snowden does a great job of. Snowden’s technique will help to avoid pass interference at the college level. I will look forward to watching Snowden next year as a senior. <strong>#4 [player_tooltip player_id="30355" first="Devon" last="Buskin"] </strong>| Southfield | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/video/3/13332520/6176ea210c5417052037bc40">Hudl</a> I love that Buskin never gives up on the play. He does a great job of getting in a position to make plays. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="30355" first="Devon" last="Buskin"] </strong>will make defenders pay for running his direction. There is a play on his junior year highlights where he flys in almost out of nowhere and makes a huge hit on the ball carrier. A player like Buskin is a luxury for Southfield and the coaches should look forward to the plays he will make next season.
