This can on his 10-17 completion rate, with 3 TD’s in the air. He also ran the ball for 95 yards in his team’s win.
Trey Glymph (PK)- Denmark
Kickers tend to not get the credit deserve, but for Glymph, we want to give him his proper shine. Last week, he was an integral part of his team’s success, as he helped to lead them to a clutch playoff win over Mountain View at the end of the game. In this game, he kicked 3 field goals, including the game winner mentioned prior. This game winner came in the final moments of the game, and was about 38 yards.
Owen Brooker Owen Brooker 6'0" | 185 lbs | QB Northwest Whitfield | 2023 State GA (QB)- Northwest Whitfield
When taking on Fayette County, Brooker was a solid rock on his offense. Not only did he pass for 230 yards in the air, but he also passed for a TD as well. In addition to this, he was solid on the ground, as he managed to rack up 95 yards, and 2 TD’s. Chad Alexander (RB)- Archer
During last Friday’ win, Alexander led the siege for his team, as he rushed for 166 yards, causing massive disruption for the opposing defense. In this game, due to his punishing running style, speed, and ability to tote the rock at a high level, the opposing team began to be worn down by the end of the day. By the end of the game, Alexander helped to lead Archer to a 47-7 win over Alpharetta.
J.C. French J.C. French 6'0" | 185 lbs | QB Wesleyan | 2022 State GA (QB)- Blessed Trinity
French, who we have consistently felt is an underrated prospect in the state, had an under the radar performance last Friday that was big for his team’s success. While his stats were not gaudy, he was consistent, as he passed for 118 yards, and was efficient on the ground as well. On the ground, he rushed for 99 yards, and continued to keep Southwest DeKalb off balance. Due to this, he and his team managed to come out on top with a 41-20 win.
