Chris James CB, Delran
This young man played his heart out and was determined to make sure that this wasn’t his last high school football game. A very physical corner with good size, who consistently made plays on screen passes against Burlington. They tried him two times at key moments and he made both plays for tackles for a loss even made one on a fourth down near the end of the 4th quarter. Ultimately, Delran lost the game but Chris James deserved praise for his solid performance.

Quiyon McMillan Quiyon McMillan 6'2" | 185 lbs | ATH Nottingham highschool mercerville nj | 2023 State NJ CB/WR, Nottingham
Quiyon McMillian was much of the talk around Nottingham coming off a performance where he had three interceptions. Highly regarded as a D1 talent he did nothing in this playoff game against Haddon Heights to dispel that notion. Playing amazing coverage at cornerback getting two beautiful pass breakups, also scoring one receiving touchdown. At 6’2 185 he is a physically imposing player on both offense and defense and literally makes plays all over the field. This young man’s potential is limitless.

JuJuan Lee HB, Burlington
JuJuan Lee is strictly a playmaker. In Burlington’s win over Delran, JuJuan Lee had two of the biggest plays of the game. A fourth-down misdirection pitch play earlier in the game that converted a fourth down. Then a run in overtime that ultimately ended up being the game-winning run. JuJuan Lee has been making plays all year and is a key reason why Burlington has moved on in the playoffs.

Isaiah Barnes HB, Nottingham
Isaiah Barnes displayed great toughness and physicality running against Haddon Heights. He gained many yards after contact, showed good burst, and shiftiness in the open field. He was able to help Nottingham chew the clock down the stretch to grind away the win. Isaiah Barnes is one of Nottingham’s best players and leads one of the best rushing attacks in the state.

Anthony Johnson Anthony Johnson 6'2" | 190 lbs | WR Burlington | 2022 State NJ WR/CB Burlington
Anthony Johnson Anthony Johnson 6'2" | 190 lbs | WR Burlington | 2022 State NJ put on a show on offense, defense, and special teams. Scoring touchdowns at wide receiver and grabbing interceptions at cornerback he was clearly the best player on the field against Delran. He suffered an ankle injury midway through the game that hampered his performance towards the end of the game but he gutted it out and made some key plays before the end of the first half. He started it off by taking a kick return to the house for a touchdown giving Burlington the first score of the game showing off his shiftiness and speed in the open field. Then he ran a beautiful slant route where he displayed great body control, catching ability, and concentration to secure a key first down for Burlington. Lastly, he grabbed a beautiful interception up the sideline before the end of the half where he almost took that for a touchdown. As previously mentioned if not for an ankle injury that slowed him down he could’ve had an even bigger impact on this game but he had enough of an impact to help Burlington secure the playoff victory against Delran.
