Remi Baere- QB, 2023
Baere has been an efficient passer in a run-heavy scheme during his junior season. He’s shown a strong arm and accuracy on intermediate to deep throws. He works well out of play-action and can put velocity or touch on the ball to fit it into tight windows. Baere threw for 4 TDs in one of his most impressive performances of the season in their first matchup against Carlsbad.

Wyatt Gardner- ATH, 2022
Gardner is an athlete and playmaker on both sides of the ball at DB and slot-back. He shows great ball skills and instincts at both positions. He’s a skilled receiver that creates space with crisp, crafty route-running and can challenge DBs vertically with his speed. Gardner made a big impact in the first meeting between these teams posting nearly 100 receiving yards and 2 TDs.

Easton Clements- ATH, 2023
Clements has enjoyed a breakout junior season as a two-way standout at WR/DB. He’s been a dynamic playmaker with the ball in his hands challenging defenses outside the tackles on jet sweeps and catching passes split out at receiver or out of the backfield. Clements had a huge game for Torrey in these teams’ first matchup posting over 200 all-purpose yards and 3 total TDs including a 68-yard TD run.

Zach Rowell Zach Rowell 6'5" | 265 lbs | DL Torry Pines | 2022 State CA – DE, 2022
The Stanford commit is a disruptive force from his DE spot on Torrey’s front seven. He’s big (6’5, 265 lbs.), extremely physical, and plays with a high motor. He has the strength to overpower OTs and can fight off double teams making plays in the backfield. Rowell, who had 2 sacks in their first meeting, will be a key piece of Torrey’s plan to slow down blue-chip QB Julian Sayin Julian Sayin 6'1" | 195 lbs | QB Carlsbad | 2024 State CA and their highly effective offense.
Lots of passion and energy for this game!! 2 sacks friday, left it all out there fell short we gonna bounce back💯 pic.twitter.com/2exH6o5j4N

Griffin Grant Griffin Grant 6'4" | 200 lbs | DB Torrey Pines | 2022 State CA – DB, 2022
Grant is a talented leader at SS for Torrey’s secondary. He has good size (6’4, 200 lbs.) and athleticism and eats up ground covering over the top. He’s shown physicality tackling downhill and good closing speed. Grant, one of the top safeties in San Diego, and the Torrey secondary will look to slow down a talented receiving core for Carlsbad.
