Some manage to get the big-time offers early, while others find themselves waiting for their first offer during their final season.
The recruiting process is still ongoing for the four senior running backs listed below. Each of these players has phenomenal skills and abilities that are worthy of college interest.
Jake Marschall Jake Marschall 5'11" | 185 lbs | RB Chatfield | 2022 State CO | Chatfield | 5’11”, 185lbs
Marschall has put on a phenomenal performance during his senior season, one that has helped to earn his team a trip to the 4A state final game. His explosiveness and vision allow for him to identify the creases in the defense and exploit them with tough, physical running. He has the strength to run through initial contact and the speed to get separation once he reaches the second level.
Marschall will be entering the state final matchup with 1,793 yards and 26 touchdowns from 265 carries. He posted 100+ yard rushing games in nine out of 14 contests, asserting himself as one of the best running backs in the state. Marschall has been an intricate part of a historical season for the Chatfield Chargers, making him a steal of a senior recruiting prospect.
Seth Cromwell Seth Cromwell 5'10" | 215 lbs | RB Columbine | 2022 State CO | Columbine | 5’10”, 210lbs
Cromwell is possibly one of the best power backs in the state. He is a player who possesses speed, strength, and a physically tough playing style that makes him the perfect option for a three-down running back. He has more of a one-cut running style and hits the hole with unstoppable power. His abilities to keep his pad level low and his legs churning are what make him a next-level prospect.
