David Hill – Muskegon Catholic – RB – 6’1″ 160 lbs
Hill had another big night as he ran all over the Ravenna defense. He got the hot hand early and they kept feeding him the rock because he kept making things happen. He was moving the chain just about every time he touched the ball. Hill rushed for over 187-yards, added 23-yards through the air, and then had 2 total TDs on the night.
Corey Vanderputte – Oakridge – RB
Vanderputte had another massive performance on Friday as he raced past 200 scrimmage yards in a flash Friday. The game plan was fairly simple for Oakridge. Get the ball to Vanderputte and see what he can do with the ball. He finished the night with just under 300 scrimmage yards. He had 206 on the ground and then added 68 through the air. He had a total of 2 TDs as they got the win.
Bryson Hughes – Reed City – RB – 6’0″ 171 lbs
Reed City made the trip over and this game did not disappoint. It went back and forth and they duked things out on Friday on the field. Hughes came through for Reed City as he had a big night. Reed City needed the comeback and Hughes is what jumpstarted the offense with a huge run. He’s a bigger back who likes to use his strength and power. He rushed for 117-yards and put up a TD on the night.
Kyle Stratton – Whitehall – QB – 5’8″ 155 lbs
Stratton had another really solid performance on Friday. He continues to make plays with his legs and extend drives when needed. He was decent with his accuracy on Friday and didn’t make any costly mistakes. He was able to direct traffic down the field and make a connection on a long bomb which got the offense rolling. He had over 200-yards and a TD on the night.
