Cole Simpson – Lumen Christi – RB – 6’0″ 180lbs
Simpson was fantastic on Friday yet again. He’s going to make big explosive plays every time he steps on the field. He was all over the defense on Friday. He was making guys miss and getting into the open field every time he touched the ball. He finished the night with over 125-yard and a TD on the night as they got the win and will move forward another round.
Kaydin Hiland Kaydin Hiland RB Michigan Center | 2022 MI – Michigan Center – QB
Hiland had an awesome all-around performance on Friday. Everything he was doing worked and he got better as the game went on. He only needed 103 passing yards and a 1 TD through the air on Friday. He then added 143-yards and 2 more TDs on the ground while Constatine let him go wild. It was Hiland’s best performance of the year and it came when they needed it most.
Trenton Hill – Chelsea – RB – 5’10″ 190 lbs
Friday was Hill’s most complete performance of the year. He ran with a purpose and a ton of confidence. The holes opened up every and he hit the gas every time he touched the ball. He also did some damage out of the backfield. He put up just under 200 scrimmage yards. 155 of those yards came from the ground as he added 4 TDs to help Chelsea get the win over Milan.
Nolan Wheeler – Parma Western – QB –
Wheeler didn’t need to throw it a ton on Friday but when he did he was efficient and dynamic. He threw for 188-yards on only 13 total passing attempts. He then rushed for just over another 50-yards on the night. He went through his progressions quickly and got the ball where it needed to go. He added 3 total TDs in the game to give Parma Western the win over Battle Creek Harper Creek.
