Jeff Becker Jeff Becker 6'0" | 195 lbs | QB Carroll | 2022 State IN – Carroll – QB – 6’0″ 193 lbs
Becker did it again on Friday and at this point, we should just pencil him in the standouts every week. He’s so good and just makes everything look easy. Warsaw came into the game on a roll and looking for the upset. That didn’t happen as Becker put on another clinic. He took Carroll up and down the field all night. He stood strong in the pocket and made every throw. He also busted a long TD run just to ice the cake. He had over 300 total yards and 4 TDs on the night as Carroll gave Warsaw a beatdown 36-0.
Tagg Gott – Northridge – QB – 6’0″ 195 lbs
The Northridge game was arguably the best of the weekend. It was a great offensive dual and Gott had a monster game. He started the night with the game’s first TD. He dropped a beautiful throw into the back of the endzone for a score. He stayed confident all night and delivered the ball with accuracy. He also added just under 75 rushing yards on the night. He had 3 total TDs on the night as they won by 1 in OT.
Mason Sheron – Leo – RB – 6’0″ 205 lbs
Sheron did it again on Friday with another huge performance. Sheron is one of the best pure runners in the state of Indiana. He trusts what he sees and hits the hole. He’s such a powerful runner as well. He busted Leo’s first TD on their first drive of the night. He broke 3 tackles and dragged the defender into the endzone with him. He finished the night with over 100 rushing yards and a TD as Leo fell short.
Carson Campbell – Mississinewa – RB – 5’4″ 145 lbs
Campbell and the Indians just stuck it to the Wayne Generals on Friday and Campbell was a primary reason why. He was all over the field breaking long runs. He’s a smaller and shifty back that the defense had a rough time containing. He broked a TD run on the first drive of the night from 55-yards out. He also added some damage out of the backfield in the receiving game. He had over 150-yards and 2 TDs on the night as they got the win.
Shawn Collins – Wayne – RB – 5’10″ 187 lbs
The Wayne offense struggled most of the year, but Collins was able to keep it rolling. This was the case again on Friday. Collins was arguably the only bright spot for the Generals. He’s such a good runner that he doesn’t need much space. Mississinewa made that mistake early in the game as Collins busted a 65-yard TD to tie the game early on. Collins had over 150-yards and the only TD on the night for the Generals.
