Tagg Gott – Northridge – RB – 6’0″ 195 lbs
Gott was the leader for Northridge as he got the running game going early. He was downhill in a hurry and squares his shoulders for contact. He’s a powerful runner and the defense found that out the hard way on Friday. Gott gashed the defense all night and was breaking tackles every time he touched the ball. He put up over 100-yards and a TD as Northridge ran past Columbia City.
Carson Campbell – Mississinewa – RB – 5’4″ 145 lbs
Campbell is dynamic and very hard to catch in the open field. He’s a small back who is incredibly shifty as well. He busted an 80-yard TD run on the night to start things off. He shot through the A-gap and turned on the jets. He was gone and he led their offense on the night. Campbell was also great out of the backfield where he stretched the defense thin. He had over 150-yards and 2 TDs as they got the win.
Jakar Williams – New Haven – QB – 6’3″
Williams started slow and the rain affected him but he eventually got dialed in. He dropped a long bomb TD pass right in the breadbasket of his receiver to get the night started for New Haven. The rain was coming down hard but he rolled out and just launched it. His WR came down with it and New Haven’s offense was rolling from then on out. Williams had over 200-yards and 2 TDs on the night.
Bishop Luers Offense
Doing an entire offense is out of the normal, but everyone for Luers feasted on Friday. They went up to Prairie Heights, and just as expected, had no issues with the Panthers. The Panthers didn’t put up much of a fight and rolled over as the Knights had their way with them.
