Luke Graft – Norwell – LB – 6’0″ 195 lbs
Whenever Norwell steps on the field, Graft is going to make plays. On Friday, he literally changed the game. Things for Norwell started slow and they needed a jumpstart. Not only did Graft get an interception, but he also returned it to the house for 6. He added 11 tackles on top as he helped Norwell steam roll Concordia on Friday.
John Parapi – Dwenger – G/DT – 6’0″ 275 lbs
It isn’t often we get to highlight interior defensive linemen but when we go it is a ton of fun. Parapi had the game of his life on Friday. Not only did he give up 0 pressures on offense, but on defense, he was making plays. He got pressure in the A-gap all night and forced the opposing offense to get away from the run game. He had a sack on the night where he flushed Norfleet out and dove for the sack. He also dove and somehow blocked a FG for Dwenger as well.
Jack Tippmann Jack Tippmann 6'4" | 225 lbs | TE Bishop Dwenger | 2022 State IN – Dwenger – TE/DE – 6’5″ 220 lbs
Right when the Northside offense got rolling, Tippmann decided it was his time to make a big play. Tippmann came off the edge all night and finally got home for a sack that would kill a drive. He beat the Tackle with speed and just ran right by him and hit Norfleet. Tippmann also had 3 TFL on the night as he lived in the backfield causing some disruptions for Northside.
Wyatt Boals – Northridge – T/DT – 6’4″ 230 lbs
Some people are made to play on the inside on the line and that is Boals. He is incredibly tough and gritty all while giving his maximum effort on every play. He had arguably the biggest night of his life on Friday. He made plays all over the field and was in the backfield on every down it felt like. He finally got home late in the game to end it. He got the sack which ended Columbia City’s season.
