Players to watch
Bloomfield Hills RB Gavin Cote
Good speed and change of direction, a sure varsity starter next season that will try and carry this team to another league championship.
Troy RB Nolan Block Nolan Block 5'7" | 170 lbs | RB Troy | 2024 MI
The all-conference running back is fast and shifty. Great change of direction and is already a good varsity back who will only continue to improve. Could take a big leap in his junior season.
Berkley QB Sunny Kadlitz Sunny Kadlitz 6'0" | 155 lbs | QB Berkley | 2024 State MI
Great awareness and football IQ. Above-average accuracy for a sophomore quarterback in all aspects, and this will only improve. Sure QB1 for next season and I’m very interested in seeing what he can do.
Farmington DT Jacob Braswell
He’s a pure run stopper who easily sheds blocks and gets to the ball. There are so many instances where he just throws the opposing lineman to the side to get right to the ball carrier and he could be a force on varsity.
Avondale MLB Myles Moore Myles Moore 6'0" | 200 lbs | ATH Avondale | 2024 State MI
Moore has some great football IQ and defensive awareness. Instead of standing idle waiting for the ball, he attacks it which is such an important quality for a linebacker. He’s not afraid to hit hard, he finishes tackles and is a general hard worker. Next season could be an amazing one if he dedicates his time to his craft.
Athens T/DT Elijah Garvin
At 6’4, Garvin’s ceiling is high. I’ve seen this prototype a ton of big underclassman offensive lineman who dedicates himself to his craft and becomes a beast by junior and senior year. I’ve also seen it go the other way. I’m hoping that Garvin spends a ton of time this offseason preparing himself for a breakout junior season because it will happen if he puts his mind to it.
Royal Oak FB/LB Anthony Garcia
A bit raw but with great potential. If he spends enough time in the weight room he can become a bruiser on offense and defense. A sure varsity starter next season.
Ferndale LB Jacoby Young
A hard hitter who has a good IQ. Varsity starter. With plenty of time in the weight room, film room, etc, Young can turn himself into a sure all-league talent.
Pontiac QB Da’veon Hall
6’3 lefty quarterback who needs to stay consistent and dedicated to this craft. Pretty nice deep ball accuracy, and I’m looking forward to what he can bring in 2022.
