Here are this week’s standouts:
Avery Cohen Avery Cohen 6'0" | WR Shawnee | 2022 NJ | Shawnee
Cohen was one of the top playmakers on the field this past weekend as he caught 5 passes for 178 yards and two touchdowns in a convincing 42-13 victory over Williamstown. He scored on touchdown passes of 64 and 74 yards. He’s not the fastest player on the field but he runs great routes and has a good catch radius and ability to pick up yards after the catch.
Owen Bill | Hunterdon Central
This is the second consecutive week that Bill has found himself on this list. He followed up a 8 for 202 yards and two-score performance two weeks ago with 11 catches for 169 yards and two scores in this week’s 34-7 victory over Franklin. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound receiver is a sure-handed receiver who runs great routes and has top-end speed that allows him to get past defenders for large plays.
Jayden Brimage | Bound Brook
Brimage is a quick, shifty receiver who is one of the leading playmakers for Bound Brook. He caught 6 passes for 160 yards and one touchdown this past weekend in a 33-20 loss to Warren Hills. Brimage is quick and shifty in space and has the straight-line speed to run past opposing defensive backs.
Aldrich Doe | Oakcrest
Doe is a 6-foot-3, 170-pound receiver who has the ability to put his foot in the ground and cut on a dime. He possesses good speed and hands and is always a home run threat when the ball is in his hands. This past weekend he hauled in 7 catches for 156 yards and two scores in Oakcrest’s 21-20 loss to Seneca.
Khiri Summers | South Brunswick
Summers had one of the more dominating performances of the weekend as he caught four passes for 155 yards and three touchdowns. The 6-foot-1, 170-pound receiver is quick off the line of scrimmage and has the footwork to fool defenders off the line in man coverage. He’s a good route runner with soft hands who has big-play potential.
