Jake Baca, Otay Ranch, 2022
Otay Ranch got an easy win over Bonita Vista and the passing game shined. Baca had a big game receiving with 162 yards on five catches with two touchdowns. It was the biggest game of the season by far for Baca and only the second time he has eclipsed the 100-yard mark this season. He is smaller at 5-foot-10, 165 pounds but is an effective route runner and has good hands.

JJ Conrad, Yorba Linda, 2023
Yorba Linda is one of the most balanced teams in Orange County. You can’t try to shut down one receiver because two others can burn you for big plays. The big game against Foothill last week was Conrad’s time to shine. He caught 10 passes for 136 yards and a touchdown for the Mustangs in a crucial league win.

Jaylen Lynch, Orange Lutheran, 2022
Orange Lutheran has played the most brutal part of its Trinity League schedule so far against Mater Dei, St. John Bosco and Servite. Frankly, the Lancers are overmatched physically in those games. But the skill player who can hang with those top schools athletically has been Lynch. The senior had 120 yards receiving on six catches with two touchdowns in a loss against St. John Bosco. He’s had two touchdowns in each of his last three games and had a big game against Mater Dei as well.

Austin Overn, Foothill, 2022
Overn is just one of those guys who says, "I am the best athlete on the field right now. Throw me the ball." He is committed to USC for baseball but could definitely play football at the next level too. Overn caught 10 passes for 287 yards and three touchdowns for the Knights in a loss to Yorba Linda. He has 16 touchdowns on the season and Friday marked a career-high in receiving yards.

Arthur Parker, Adelanto, 2023
Adelanto lost a shootout to Granite Hills and the Adelanto passing game shined. Parker caught five passes for an insane 225 yards and three touchdowns in the loss. He had a 70-yard touchdown catch which goosed the numbers a little bit, but to average 45 yards per reception is nuts.
