Sr., LB Jordan Bird , North Plainfield High School
Mr. Bird had a great day against Livingston to help his team to victory 35-10. Bird finished with 1 sack, 2 TFL, and 22 tackles. Bird was a ball hawk. He played with high energy all game. Bird is ready to play at the next level displaying great size and football IQ. North Plainfield had a good season finishing the season 5-3 but did not qualify for the postseason. Bird ended his senior season on a good note and hopefully continue to play in college.
Sr., DE Kenny Fletcher Kenny Fletcher 6'3" | DL Delran | 2022 State NJ , Delran High School
Mr. Fletcher the Rutgers University commit played well against West Deptford helping his team to a blowout win 40-0. Fletcher had 1 sack, 4 TFL and 11 tackles. He was clearly unstoppable as a fierce edge rusher. Fletcher has the speed and athleticism to bend the edge to attack the ball carrier as well as his strength to bull rush offensive linemen. Fletcher barely allows anyone to get into his chest. He does a great job striking his hands at the point of attack. Fletcher plays with high energy that will help him lead his team for the postseason. Keep an eye on Fletcher who is ready for the big stage.
Jr., LB Tom Arcaroli , Cherry Hill West
Mr. Arcaroli had 1 sack, 3 TFL, 1 FR, and 12 tackles to help lead his team to victory. Arcaroli plays with good leverage and pad level. He does a great job defeating blockers and getting to the ball carrier. Cherry Hill West will not make the postseason but Arcaroli will build off this performance for his senior season.
Jr., LB Jared Tynes Jared Tynes 6'2" | 210 lbs | DL North Brunswick | 2023 State NJ , North Brunswick High School
Mr. Tynes was unstoppable with 5 sacks, 1 FF and 7 tackles to help his team to victory over St. Joseph (Met.) 28-18. Tynes does a great job anticipating what’s going to happen which makes it easier for him to locate the football. Tynes is a great tackler and constantly makes his presence felt. He is the type of player that will never take a playoff. He has a high motor and athletic ability. North Brunswick will prepare for the Group 5 playoffs this week.
Jr., DT Ashton Blose , Delsea High School
Mr. Blose had 3 sacks to help his team to win 42-14 over Mainland. Blose has great size and quickness to get passed blockers. Delsea has qualified for the playoffs next week and their defense will need to keep the momentum going. Delsea has only allowed 14 points this season.
