(No.19) St. Joseph (Hamm.) 42 at Kingsway 6
Senior QB Jason Prevard (St. Joseph) led his team to victory. He was efficient and poised going 12-20 238 yards and two touchdowns. St. Joseph started off to a 7-0 lead early in the first quarter until late in the third quarter. Things started to open up as St. Joseph quickly scored twenty-one unanswered points. However, Junior RB Darrell Brown (Kingsway) was able to get points on the board for his team. St. Joseph will improve to (6-2) and Kingsway will fall to (3-3)
(No.2) St. Augustine 49 at Vineland 6
Powerhouse St. Augustine Prep put on a show against Vineland. Vineland could not get anything going offensively finished the game with zero passing yards and fifty nine rushing yards. Vineland’s only score came off special teams when Senior DB Daeshaun Winchester (Vineland) returned a kickoff return 89 yards for a touchdown. That was the highlight of the day for Vineland. On the other hand, St. Augustine were getting it going on all cylinders. Senior RB Kanye Udoh Kanye Udoh 6'0" | 190 lbs | RB St. Augustine | 2022 State NJ (St. Augustine) had a productive day finishing with 102 yards on 13 carries and one touchdown. Senior QB Tristan McLeer Tristan McLeer 5'11" | 175 lbs | DB St Augustine Prep | 2022 NJ (St. Augustine) was also productive going 6-9 166 yards and two touchdowns. Finally, Senior DB Kenneth Selby (St. Augustine) has shown why quarterbacks should never throw his way. He returned an interception 76 yards for a touchdown. St. Augustine will improve to (6-1) and Vineland will fall to (1-6).
Triton 28 at Atlantic City 20
Atlantic City started off strong and used special teams to get points on the board. The Vikings managed to block a punt and return it for a touchdown as well as a punt return for a touchdown. Triton’s run game allowed them to get back into this game. Junior RB Justin Brown Justin Brown 5'9" | 160 lbs | RB Triton | 2023 State NJ (Triton) had 9 carries for 95 yards and one touchdown. Triton had a three headed monster that kept Atlantic City off balance. Atlantic City could not get anything going on offense. Their defense were on the field most of the game making it more difficult to stop Triton. Triton’s rushing attack really fatigued Atlantic City to help them pull away with the win. For Triton, this was their fifth win a row. Triton will improve to (5-2) and Atlantic City will fall to (3-3).
Timber Creek 41 at Mainland 14
Senior QB Donavan Leary (Timber Creek) was terrific for Timber Creek. He was 27-41 with 409 yards and five touchdowns. Leary displayed great poise and decision making ability. Their passing attack was their main weapon this game. Timber Creek dominated this game from the moment the ball was kicked off. Expect Mainland to bounce back from this game and Timber Creek to continue to dominate. Timber Creek will improve to (3-5) and Clearview will fall to (3-3).
(No.6) Millville 40 at Williamstown 7
Millville jumped out to an early lead 20-0 early in the first quarter. Senior QB Nate Robbins Nate Robbins QB Milville | 2022 State NJ (Millville) led his team to victory with a great performance. Robbins was 24-28 408 yards and four touchdowns. Every one of his receivers were able to score a touchdown. Williamstown secondary simply just could not cover anyone. Freshman WR Lotzeir Brooks Lotzeir Brooks 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Millville | 2025 State NJ (Millville) had four receptions 161 yards and one touchdown. Also, Senior RB LeQuint Allen LeQuint Allen 6'0" | 180 lbs | RB Millville | 2022 State NJ (Millville) had 166 carries on 15 carries and two touchdowns. Millville will improve to (5-1) and Williamstown will fall to (3-4).
