Jj Payne – Northwood – WR – 6’4″ 170 lbs
Payne is Northwood’s deep threat and he delivers most of the time when they call his number. They hit him on a deep shot and he held on for a long catch which set them up on the 13-yard line. They went back to Payne and he delivered. He was making contested catches all night and finished the evening with his first 100-yard game of the year.
Brady Fisher – Mishawaka – QB – 6’0″ 170 lbs
Fisher made his return after missing a few weeks and he looked good overall. He was pretty rusty to start the game and took a while to find his groove but once he did he looked great. He broke a 50-yard run where he made a few guys miss and turned the corner. He got tracked down but he set them up in scoring position. Fisher delivered a few TD strikes on Friday and it was great to see him back.
Amarion Moore Amarion Moore 6'3" | 180 lbs | WR Concord | 2022 State IN – Concord – WR – 6’3″ 180 lbs
Moore continues to produce and prove that he has all the tools to be an elite player at the next level. He has the size and speed paired with the raw athleticism. The offense is designed around him. They throw the ball in his area and he comes down with it. He caught a ball over the middle and turned on the jets. He was gone and there was no way that anyone was catching him.
Zach David – Penn – WR – 5’10″ 170 lbs
David was the steady hand for the offense when they needed it on Friday. He was inside at the slot and was reading the zones perfectly. He knew when to sit and when to keep going. David and the QB had great chemistry all night and it was big when Penn needed it. He got wide open in the middle of the field and raced down into the endzone for a TD. He helped guide the passing offense to a big day.
Cayden Inbody – Jimtwon – FB/MLB – 5’7″ 150 lbs
Inbody typically doesn’t get many opportunities to touch the ball very often but when he does he makes his touches count. He’s a true FB and they use him to lead the running game. On Friday, they slipped him out of the backfield, he ran a wheel route, and Inbody was hit in stride, and raced down to the sideline for a touchdown.
