Domanick Moon Domanick Moon 6'2" | 215 lbs | LB R Nelson Snider | 2022 State IN – Snider – LB – 6’2″ 225 lbs
Moon plays all 3 LB spots and he was all over the field on Friday. I counted 4 TFL alone. He also had a sack, a tipped pass, and a forced fumble. He was all over the place and making big hits left and right. He’s a fantastic athlete that has been well-coached. He was the heart and soul of that defense and once he got going the rest of the defense did as well.
Amarrion Moore – Snider – DB – 6’1″ 160 lbs
Snider got confident early and started bringing different exotic blitzes. Some of them got home and some of them didn’t When Moore came on the blitz, both times, he got home and made the sack. He killed 2 drives and prevented Dwenger from ever getting back into the game. Moore was fast, tough, and physical on Friday.
Isaiah Maxwell – Snider – 5’10″ 190 lbs
Snider dominated the game in all 3 phases and Maxwell’s biggest play of the game was just another example of that. It was late in the game and Snider was playing a prevent defense. Dwenger ran an underneath WR screen and Maxwell read it like a book, raced down to the line of scrimmage, and made the tackle for loss. He was the only defender within at least 30-yards. It was just that type of night for Snider and they earned it.
Jack Tippmann Jack Tippmann 6'4" | 225 lbs | TE Bishop Dwenger | 2022 State IN – Dwenger – TE/DE – 6’5″ 220 lbs
Tippman made Dwenger’s only real stop of the night. Snider was on the goal line looking to score again and Tippmann blew up the A-gap preventing the score and forcing a turnover on downs. It was a relief for them to get a stop and Tippmann made the play. He split the blocks in the B- gap and made the tackle. He finished the night with 11 tackles and that 1 key stop.
Gavin Groves – Dwenger – MLB – 6’0″ 190 lbs
Groves was decent in coverage and he never got burned. He was consistent and led the team in tackles. He flies all over the field and makes the calls as they come in. He rushed the edge a few times and pushed the pocket multiple times. He finally got home and made a sack to end a drive that sure felt like it had another Snider score written all over it.
