1. Reece Beauchamp (SR-WR) – Vandegrift High School (Austin, TX)
2021 Season: 22 receptions, 568 receiving yards, 10 receiving touchdowns
Beauchamp is among the best wide receivers in Central Texas at the moment, but Vandegrift now takes on a new challenge in Cedar Ridge. The Raiders have only lost one game this season and have either dominated opponents or edged out close wins. Either way, Cedar Ridge is tough to beat and the Vipers will need to lean on their stars to keep their undefeated streak alive.
2. Elijah Oakmon Elijah Oakmon 5'9" | 190 lbs | RB Pflugerville | 2022 TX (SR-RB) – Pflugerville High School (Pflugerville, TX)
2021 Season: 703 rushing yards, 10 rushing touchdowns
For Pflugerville, the Panthers will need to rely on their most consistent player on the team in Oakmon. He has scored at least one touchdown in every game besides the season-opener and was one of the few bright spots in the loss to Manor last week. Considering Weiss is another tough opponent, Oakmon will have to turn on the jets once more to keep Pflugerville in the game.
3. Dior Bradfield (SR-QB) – Weiss High School (Pflugerville, TX)
2021 Season: 1,522 passing yards, 17 passing touchdowns, 3 interceptions
Bradfield has pretty much been unstoppable all season but Pflugerville poses arguably the biggest threat for Weiss since Rouse at the start of the season. However, Pflugerville comes off of a huge 45-12 loss to Manor, and if those defensive struggles are still there for the Panthers, then Bradfield could be in for another big day.
4. Josh Pell (SR-QB) – Cedar Park High School (Cedar Park, TX)
2021 Season: 1,290 passing yards, 13 passing touchdowns, 6 interceptions
Pell is coming off of a huge game against Anderson in which he threw for five touchdowns and 250 yards, and considering Leander’s defense has had some struggles this season, this week is poised for Pell to have another big game.
