Let’s get everyone caught up on the latest recruitment news from this month (Pt. 2). *NOTE* Other prospects in picture byline are not included in this article.
2023 linebacker Marcus Woodley received offers from Central Michigan and Syracuse. The Somerset Silver Palms product has had a keen eye for the football with at least four fumble recoveries and an interception. At 6-foot 2 and 200 pounds, Woodley has good size to man the middle of the field. In addition to his takeaways, he has recorded 46 tackles and 12 TFL’s.
2025 defensive tackle Anthony Smith received an offer from Iowa State. The Dillard product checks in at 6-foot-3 and 280 pounds. Smith is a mammoth presence on the Panthers’ front and should only get stronger. He will be a force for years to come.
2024 linebacker Nicholas Rodriguez received an offer from Tennessee. The St. Thomas Aquinas product has helped the Raiders to a 7-1 record. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Rodriguez is bulking up and should be a mainstay for St. Thomas Aquinas for seasons to come. His teammate, 2022 Camden Brown, picked up an offer from Florida State. Brown is committed to Pittsburgh and has been one of the more electric playmakers in South Florida this season.
2023 wide receiver Tastean Reddicks Tastean Reddicks 6'1" | 180 lbs | WR Deerfield Beach | 2023 FL received an offer from Temple. The Deerfield Beach product has 20 receptions for 303 yards and five touchdowns through seven games. Reddicks’ work along the outside has helped the Bucks to a 5-2 record.
*UPDATE*
2022 defensive end Shemar Stewart Shemar Stewart 6'5" | 240 lbs | DL Miami Monsignor Pace | 2022 State FL is expected to be in College Station this weekend for the Aggies’ game against South Carolina. The Monsignor Pace product is considered to be one of the top edge rushers in the country at 6-foot-5 and 260 pounds. Stewart also holds offers from Georgia, Ohio State, Miami, among others. In my opinion, Miami’s struggles this season might hurt them in landing Stewart. For example, have you seen Georgia’s defense this year? For us locals, hopefully the Canes can stay in this thing as Stewart is a difference maker in this class.
