Jake Schakel Jake Schakel 6'1" | 195 lbs | QB Emerald Ridge | 2024 State WA , QB, Emerald Ridge: In 7 games, Shakel has thrown for 1,715 yards and 20 TD’s, as he continues to prove why he is a division 1 prospect. Excellent pocket mechanics and mobility as he throws with great anticipation. He has the ability to hit all 3 levels of throws and has also shown the ability to fit throws in with finesse. Overall an impressive 2024 QB thus far.
Tony Harste Tony Harste 6'0" | 170 lbs | WR Emerald Ridge | 2024 State WA , WR, Emerald Ridge: Harste has established a raw connection with QB Jake Shakel, racking up 547 yards and 7 TD’s in a 7 game span thus far. He flashes an excellent initial burst off the LOS with solid top end speed in space, and has shown a nice leaping ability at 5’9″ 150lbs to win those contested catches against taller and longer DB’s. Sharp and creative route runner to generate frequent separation, as he looks like a very explosive player through his sophomore year. Definitely a 2024 to get on your radar.
Nathan Turk, DB, Klahowya: Turk has been an absolute ball hawk through 5 games, picking off 4 passes, forcing 4 PBU’s, and forcing a fumble. Solid all-around athlete that possesses good ball skills and body control in the back half. He shows a good understanding of cover-3 responsibilities at CB and has done a solid job eliminating the deep third.
Logan Sloman, WR, North Kitsap: Sloman has hauled in 25 receptions for 539 yards and 8 TD’s, possessing a nose for the endzone. He flashes active feet at the LOS to generate a release, and has shown big play ability in the screen game with his top end speed. Solid all-around athlete on both sides of the ball as he is flashing some strong potential.
Byson Vasquez Byson Vasquez 6'0" | 170 lbs | LB Cascade Christian | 2024 State WA , LB/RB, Cascade Christian: Vasquez has been productive on both sides of the ball as a LB and RB. He has accumulated 438 yards rushing with 1 TD, along with 52 tackles, 6 TFL’s, 3 sacks, and a forced fumble. A definite impact player with strong potential for a young prospect on both sides of the ball.
Riley Whitlow, ATH, River View: Whitlow has racked up 6 sacks, 4 hurries, 35 tackles, and a fumble recovery in 7 games played. So far, he has continued to prove to be a disruptive threat and is growing into a promising young prospect.
Brecken Pelletier Brecken Pelletier 5'6" | 130 lbs | ATH Morton/White Pass | 2024 WA , ATH, Morton-White Pass: Pelletier has been a very dynamic player for White Pass as he’s shown the ability to make an impact in numerous dimensions of the game. He’s rushed for 274 yards and 2 TD’s, totaled 9 receptions for 137 yards and 2 TD’s, accumulated 46 tackles on defense, and has also had a couple solid kick returns. Overall an iron man type player that could climb up the rankings in the future.
Caleb Sherfy, QB, Tri-Cities Prep: Sherfy has put up 1,967 yards though the air with 25 TD’s,while adding another 5 TD’s on the ground. He will have to do a better job with ball security with his 17 INT’s, so I’ll be monitoring his window to mature as he should start to calm down a bit and not force throws as he continues to get experience.
Gunnar Peterson, RB, Eastmont: Peterson is a north-south type of back in a Wing-T offense and has been a very effective goal line back. He possesses good physicality and pad level level between the tackles with a nice burst through narrow lanes. So far, he has racked up 635 yards and 7 TD’s on 85 carries.
Jackson Almond Jackson Almond 6'2" | 205 lbs | ATH Cascade Christian | 2024 State WA , ATH, Cascade Christian: Almond is proving to be a dynamic player and possesses excellent athleticism and position versatility to find success from several spots. He has totaled 15 receptions for 194 yards and 4 TD’s as a WR, but has done some of his best work as a DB by racking up 42 tackles, 3 TFL’s, a sack and an INT.
