#21 Bryce White | RB | Pickney | 2022 | Hudl
White is great at running downhill and almost always falling forward. White got off to a fast start this year in 2021, rushing for just shy of 500 yards in the first four games he played in. White had a great game against Jackson. In the game, White rushed the ball 13 times for 71 yards and two touchdowns. Look for the Pirates to try to get the run game going with Bryce White early against Haslett.
#14 Caleb Wardlow Caleb Wardlow 6'2" | 175 lbs | WR Pinckney | 2022 MI | WR | Pickney | 2022 | Hudl
Wardlow is not only a great wide receiver he is also a monster in the return game. Wardlow took two punts for touchdowns against Adrian earlier this season. Wardlow has great size and speed you want in a wide receiver. I like that Wardlow runs routes with urgency and almost always beats cornerbacks deep on go routes. In the win over Jackson, Wardlow had two catches for 95 yards and a touchdown.
#1 Lonnie Smith | WR/CB | Haslett | 2022 | Hudl
Lonnie Smith has been great at creating pass breakups at the cornerback position all year long for Haslett. He is so good at staying in a position to make a play on the football. Smith has good hips to easily turn and get his head around so he can see when the football is in the air. Smith lines up in the backfield a lot and is able to create missed tackles with his strength and quickness. Smith may cover Wardlow a lot in this football game and will definitely be a matchup to keep an eye on.
#5 Isaac Pavona | QB | Haslett | 2023 | Hudl
Pavona is a great athlete who shows a tremendous ability to make difficult throws on the run. Pavona is not afraid to take off and run when the pocket breaks down. He is great at following his blockers and finding the holes when they open up. Haslett will look to Pavona to make some plays in the run and passing game. They also would love to have him find Lonnie Smith as many times as possible.
#74 Charlie Lovell Charlie Lovell 6'3" | 220 lbs | DL Pinckney | 2022 MI | OL/DL | Pickney | 2022 | Hudl
Lovell has great play strength at the defensive line position. He can bull rush offensive linemen and get in the backfield very quickly. Lovell does not show any mercy when he hits the quarterback. There are many times he will hit opposing quarterbacks with tremendous force and knock them into the ground. Lovell shows the athleticism to get outside and prevent running backs from getting the edge. I will be interested to see if Haslett will try to double team Lovell in this game.
