Isaiah Grybauskas Isaiah Grybauskas 6'1" | 185 lbs | QB Jackson Northwest | 2022 MI – Northwest – QB – 6’1″ 194 lbs
Friday was my first time coming across Grybauskas and he did not disappoint. He’s a fantastic athlete and runs all over the defense. He’s able to make most throws and is good on the run. He had 250 scrimmage yards on the night. He added 125-yards and 2 TDs on the ground. He kept the defense honest all night and caught them lacking a few times.
Andrew Cheney – Vandercook – RB – 5’10″ 160 lbs
Cheney put on a clinic on Friday as he helped Vandercook blowout Webberville. I don’t think Cheney was ever actually tackled on the night. He either ran out of bounds or found the endzone. He had 224 rushing yards and 3 TDs on the night. He only had 8 carries too. Anytime he touched the ball something magic happened and he should be the focal point of the offense.
Colin Morrow Colin Morrow 5'11" | 195 lbs | ATH Jackson Lumen Christi | 2022 MI – Lumen Christi – RB – 5’11″ 180 lbs
Morrow was all over Dearborn on Friday and there wasn’t much they could do to stop him. He broke a long TD early in the game. He shot through the A-gap, broke a tackle, and hit the gas. He hit the endzone and put Lumen up 7-0. He put up just under 175 scrimmage yards on the night and had his TD on the way to an easy win.
Mekhi Wingfield – Concord – WR – 6’3″ 180 lbs
Wingfield is only a sophomore and is starting to dominate. Over the past few weeks, the light has really clicked and he’s started making big plays. He has a big frame and is able to go up and come down with those contested catches. He doesn’t run a pretty route tree yet, but he’ll get there. He put up 8 receptions, 75-yards, and a Touchdown on the night. Just the beginning for someone who has a massive presence on the field.
