In this article, I will be taking a look at several Class of 2022 quarterbacks that I feel have improved their stock through the first-half of this season. Several of these quarterbacks were not ranked at the beginning of the season and have earned their way onto out radar. No. 25 [player_tooltip player_id="211209" first="Brady" last="Kurdyla"] | 6-0 | Bridgewater-Raritan Prev. Pos. Ranking: N/A Kurdyla has completed 40-of-72 passes for 702 yards, six touchdowns, and one interception through his first four games this season. No. 23 [player_tooltip player_id="211210" first="AJ" last="Rodriguez"] | 6-1 | 197 | DePaul Catholic Rodriguez has completed 67-of-107 passes for 888 yards, six touchdowns and two interceptions in his first five game this season. Pos. Ranking: N/A Solino has completed 68-of-120 passes for 805 yards, three touchdowns, and seven interceptions. His team has had a rough go in its first four games (1-3 record) and that may explain his touchdown-to-interception ratio. No. 15 [player_tooltip player_id="207092" first="Aaron" last="Bullock"] | 6-4 | 185 | Oakcrest Prev. He has completed 50-of-90 passes for 736 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception. Gill has also carried the football 99 times for 712 yards and nine touchdowns. He’s on his way to surpassing 1,000 yards in both passing and running the football this season. No. 11 [player_tooltip player_id="211211" first="Alfonso" last="Lombardi"] | 6-2 | 180 | Cedar Grove Prev. His team has a 5-0 record. No. 9 [player_tooltip player_id="190995" first="Matt" last="Welsey"] | 6-0 | 180 | Shawnee Prev. Pos. He has completed 54-of-84 passes for 960 yards, eight touchdowns, and one interception and has carried the football 65 times for 349 yards and 11 touchdowns this season. No. 8 [player_tooltip player_id="203252" first="JC" last="Landicini"] | 5-11 | 175 |n Cedar Creek Prev. Pos. Ranking: N/A My apologies for not giving Landicini his just due before the season. He’s completed 74-of-114 passes for 1,402 yards, 13 touchdowns, and two interceptions in six games this season. On top of that, his team has a record of 6-0. No. 6 [player_tooltip player_id="28054" first="Patrick" last="LePoidevin"] | 6-4 | Bound Brook Prev. Pos. Pos. Ranking: N/A After losing its first game of the year, Winslow has reeled off five straight wins with Duren being a big reason. He has completed 81-of-137 passes for 1,289 yards, 22 touchdowns, and four interceptions and has carried the football 27 times for 215 yards and two touchdowns in six game this season. Duren has thrown for 220-plus yards in four games this season has has thrown three or more touchdowns five games this season. No. 2 [player_tooltip player_id="27971" first="Donovan" last="Leary"] | 6-3 | 200 | Timber Creek Prev. Pos. Ranking: No. 4 Leary, an Illinois commit, has so far lived up to the expectations that you’d expect out of a Big Ten quarterback commit. He’s completed 89-of-158 passes for 1,231 yards, 11 touchdowns, and six interceptions in six games this season. Leary threw for 409 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception against Clearview on Oct. 1. His team has one three out of its last four games after starting the season 0-2. Leary is already recognized as one of the top quarterbacks in the state but I wanted to acknowledge the fact that he's lived up to expectations so far this season.
