In this article, I will be taking a look at several Class of 2022 quarterbacks that I feel have improved their stock through the first-half of this season. Several of these quarterbacks were not ranked at the beginning of the season and have earned their way onto out radar.

His team is currently sporting a 4-1 record.

He has completed 50-of-90 passes for 736 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception. Gill has also carried the football 99 times for 712 yards and nine touchdowns. He’s on his way to surpassing 1,000 yards in both passing and running the football this season.

Lombardi has been very impressive in his first five games this season. He has completed 57-of-88 passes for 1,084 yards, 11 touchdowns, and four interceptions this season. Lombardi has also added 168 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.

Veenstra has certainly earned his way onto our radar with his play throughout the first five games of his senior season. He has completed 53-of-70 passes for 930 yards, and 10 touchdowns and has carried the football 60 times for 470 and six touchdowns. The best stat? His team has a 5-0 record.

Welsey has been getting the job done with his arm and legs during his team’s 4-1 start to the season. He has completed 54-of-84 passes for 960 yards, eight touchdowns, and one interception and has carried the football 65 times for 349 yards and 11 touchdowns this season.

My apologies for not giving Landicini his just due before the season. He’s completed 74-of-114 passes for 1,402 yards, 13 touchdowns, and two interceptions in six games this season. On top of that, his team has a record of 6-0.

After losing its first game of the year, Winslow has reeled off five straight wins with Duren being a big reason. He has completed 81-of-137 passes for 1,289 yards, 22 touchdowns, and four interceptions and has carried the football 27 times for 215 yards and two touchdowns in six game this season. Duren has thrown for 220-plus yards in four games this season has has thrown three or more touchdowns five games this season.

Leary, an Illinois commit, has so far lived up to the expectations that you’d expect out of a Big Ten quarterback commit. He’s completed 89-of-158 passes for 1,231 yards, 11 touchdowns, and six interceptions in six games this season. Leary threw for 409 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception against Clearview on Oct. 1. His team has one three out of its last four games after starting the season 0-2. Leary is already recognized as one of the top quarterbacks in the state but I wanted to acknowledge the fact that he's lived up to expectations so far this season.
