On Monday, we had our final prospect ranking update as we updated the 2022 Top 150. Now, we start diving into those rankings and identifying some of the biggest movers and new faces within the ranking update. In this post, it’s part two of a three part feature, looking at the prospects who have risen their rankings the most. For all of the prospects in these three features, they had their ranking raised by nearly 20 spots and for several of them, it was much more than that. To check out Part 1, Click Here. Brandon Ramsey Jr
Brandon
Ramsey Jr
6'1" | 185 lbs | DB
Owasso | 2022
State
OK
– Defensive Back – Owasso
(Went From #60 To #40)
This evaluation was one of the tougher ones that we did in the recent ranking update. Owasso defensive back Brandon Ramsey Jr Brandon Ramsey Jr 6'1" | 185 lbs | DB Owasso | 2022 State OK is in our opinion, one of the better cover corners in the state’s 2022 class and has earned his recent ranking update, jumping up 20 spots. However, there’s a reason why this recent update was a tough one. Owasso’s secondary has struggled all season and it’s a big reason why they might have to go on the road in the first round of the playoffs. But Ramsey has consistently been the bright spot throughout the season. We stick with Ramsey when it comes to being a shutdown corner and believe that he is certainly a prospect on the rise and should be considered as such. The 2022 class is pretty deep when it comes to the cornerback position and even coming in at #40 overall, Ramsey has plenty of competition around him. However, Ramsey has really improved his speed and quickness to go along with his size and that makes him tough to beat.
Dawson Rudd

Rudd
6'6" | 270 lbs | OL
Claremore Sequoyah | 2022
State
OK
– Offensive Lineman – Claremore Sequoyah
(Went From #110 To #72)
We have him listed as an offensive lineman but he might be better off listed as a jumbo athlete and could end up on either side of the ball and it wouldn’t be that difficult for him to manage. Claremore Sequoyah lineman Dawson Rudd Dawson Rudd 6'6" | 270 lbs | OL Claremore Sequoyah | 2022 State OK vaulted into the Top 100 and made one of the bigger leaps in this recent ranking update, going up 38 spots. Only Zane Woodham Zane Woodham 6'0" | ATH Holland Hall | 2022 State OK of Holland Hall, who’s breakdown is at the bottom, had a bigger leap in this breakdown. Rudd is a hidden gem in the 2022 class and we believe that his ceiling is incredibly high when it comes to what he will be as a finished product. Playing at a small program like Claremore Sequoyah, maybe Rudd has been overlooked as an overall prospect but he has the size that can’t be coached and when he gets to the next level, college coaches can mold him into what they want him to be as a prospect in the weight room. We first saw Rudd have an outstanding performance in our June Showcase camp and he’s continued that momentum ever since.
Gabe Grazier
Gabe
Grazier
6'3" | 280 lbs | OL
Oolagah | 2022
State
OK
– Offensive Lineman – Oologah
(Went From #113 To #89)
Now it’s just a coincidence that these two prospects are back to back, but we go from one Showcase standout from June to another with Oologah offensive lineman Gabe Grazier Gabe Grazier 6'3" | 280 lbs | OL Oolagah | 2022 State OK . Coming into the camp, we didn’t know much about Grazier and it was apparent to us and to college coaches that Grazier had the talent to be one of the better interior lineman in this class. As opposed to Rudd, who is more of an outside lineman with his size, Grazier is perfect for the next level as a guard or center. Grazier’s recruitment picked up after his performance at the Showcase in June and he’s continued that momentum into this fall with a solid season. Like Rudd, he’s jumped into the Top 100 for overall prospects and should hold on to one of those spots all the way through our last ranking update in January, before signing day. Grazier packs a big punch with his hands and has shown steady improvement over the last six months. He’s an interior offensive lineman on the rise in the 2022 class.
Jonathan Hatton
Jonathan
Hatton
6'5" | 225 lbs | TE
Edmond North | 2022
State
OK
– Tight End – Edmond North
(Went From #100 To #71)
Another prospect jumping up from the triple digits was Edmond North tight end Jonathan Hatton Jonathan Hatton 6'5" | 225 lbs | TE Edmond North | 2022 State OK . He was right at #100 in the recent update and is now coming in at #71 and is one of the higher ranked tight ends in the 2022 class that doesn’t feature very many prospects at that position. However, Hatton certainly has to be mentioned and is a prospect with a very high ceiling. Similar to Rudd at Claremore Sequoyah, we believe that the best is yet to come for Hatton, who maybe has been overlooked playing for an Edmond North program that has struggled recently. But we’ve seen the big man in action and he can move around really well and catch just about anything that’s thrown in his area. He’ll be a perfect safety blanket for a quarterback at the next level and someone a QB can trust to always find a way to get open and catch the ball. Just like with Rudd, we think that Hatton is a high-ceiling prospect who will end up being one of the better prospects when we look back on this class in a few years.
Zane Woodham
Zane
Woodham
6'0" | ATH
Holland Hall | 2022
State
OK
– Athlete – Holland Hall
(Went From #126 To #43)
Our final prospect on this breakdown is without a doubt one of the biggest stock risers in the recent update. Jumping up 83 spots to becoming a Top 50 prospect is Holland Hall’s Zane Woodham Zane Woodham 6'0" | ATH Holland Hall | 2022 State OK . Just like we wrote in Part One, in reference to Bixby’s Jack Puckett Jack Puckett 6'2" | LB Bixby | 2022 State OK , we never should have had Woodham ranked so low as an overall prospect and that’s on us. However, it’s crystal clear that he is not only one of the best players in the state of Oklahoma but he’s also a great two-way prospect. We knew that Woodham was a solid player last year, during Holland Hall’s state championship run. But that was a team that was dominated by some seniors who got much more pub than some of the younger players. Woodham had an outstanding junior season and has not only picked up where he left off but has taken his game to the next level. As far as the college level is concerned, Woodham seems like a lock to be a linebacker as he has continued to improve on that side of the ball. But he has been at his best this year as a running back who cannot be stopped.
