Talon Betts Talon Betts 6'1" | 170 lbs | ATH Rochester | 2022 State WA , Rochester
Betts is an explosive playmaker with the ball in his hands. The Rochester coaching staff does a great job taking advantage of his versatility by lining him up all over the field and finding creative ways to get him the ball in space. Good all-around speed, he shows a strong sustained burst through the second level and has the ability to start/stop to make defenders miss in the open field. Great instincts and awareness as a ball carrier, he shows good vision and patience to allow his blocks to develop and make quick lateral cuts in response. Offered by Puget Sound over the summer and then recently picked up Lewis and Clark and Rose Hulman.

Lamont Richardson Lamont Richardson 6'0" | 170 lbs | ATH Kennedy Catholic | 2022 State WA , Kennedy Catholic
Outstanding WR in the explosive Kennedy Catholic offense but can also be a factor at DB and in the return game. He’s a fluid athlete with good speed and lateral agility. Shows excellent ball skills and ability to track/adjust to ball flight using his body control and hand eye coordination. He attacks the ball at the highest point and shows a good ability to come down with tough contested receptions. He’s a plus route runner that understands how to set up his routes and use stems/nods to create separation. Strong skillset that can be effective in all three phases.

Caleb Novak Caleb Novak 6'5" | 245 lbs | TE Peninsula | 2022 State WA , Peninsula
At 6’5” 245 lbs. Novak is classified as a jumbo athlete with his ability to play both sides of the ball at DE and TE. Possesses a solid frame with an athletic and well-balanced build. Shows good bend, feet, and mobility as an edge rusher and receiving tight end that sets himself up well with good initial quickness off the ball. Flashes great natural strength and power at the POA with the ability to overpower opponents using good leverage and a strong punch. Love his physical, aggressive, and competitive style he brings on every play. Picked up an offer from Puget Sound prior to this season and wouldn’t be surprised to see him pull in several more with his size and ability.

Cole Miller Cole Miller 6'1" | 180 lbs | ATH Steilacoom | 2022 State WA , Steilacoom
Miller is natural playmaker on both sides of the ball at WR and DB. A dual sport prospect (football/track) he’s a smooth athlete that is smart and instinctive. He’s a strider that quickly gets to full speed and can use that speed to slip by coverage or run by defenders with the ball in his hands. He’s elusive and tough to tackle one on one and uses his start/stop speed well to make defenders miss in space. His ball skills immediately jump out on the tape, he’s aggressive and competes for every ball on both sides. Offered by Lewis and Clark in the off season, he’s versatile and has a good skillset to continue to progress.
Crazy to say weeks 1-7 (4 games) are up already! Game day this Thursday against Clover Park at 7p!

Will Eaton Will Eaton 6'1" | 195 lbs | ATH Eastlake | 2022 State WA , Eastlake
Strong and well-built frame at 6’1” 195 lbs. He’s a savvy athlete that impacts the game as a receiver and returner. He shows good top end speed with a strong burst both as a route runner and ball carrier after the catch. He’s quick to drive and accelerate into his route with good transition in and out of his breaks. He’s a natural pass catcher that can snatch the ball out of the air and shows good concentration to track the ball with his eyes through his hands. Explosive with the ball in his hands he’s a home run threat that can turn short passes into long gains. Comes from strong football bloodlines with his dad being a Washington State alum and playing in the NFL during the late 1990’s and early 2000’s.
