On the defensive side of the ball, both teams had a few players who racked up a good amount of tackles, but specifically, there were a few prospects who stood out on Campbell’s side of the ball. This included the likes of Brandon Shelton, with 15 tackles, Grant Fielder, who had 9, and Jalen Shelton, and D’Kyah Banks who each had 8 tackles. Despite this, the offenses for both team’s could not manage to get going like they typically would want to, hence the low final score. Good news for both teams is that moving forward, if they can each continue to capitalize on the strength of their defense, they can control their own destiny this season as long as their offense’s contribute with reasonable output.
