Games to Watch
(5-0) Unity Christian @ (5-0) Spring Lake: It’s an absolutely huge week in the OK-Blue as we’ve four undefeated teams, and they’re all facing one another this Friday. In this one, Unity Christian is going to be favored, but Spring Lake is a team that has been on the rise for years. OLB Ty French is going to need to play excellent to stop the Chandler Duo of Unity Christian.
(5-0) West Catholic @ (5-0) Coopersville: I’m very excited to see the matchup of Coopersville’s outstanding Defense led by Tim Allen go up against West Catholic’s record breaking RB Timmy Kloska Timmy Kloska 6'0" | 220 lbs | RB Grand Rapids West Catholic | 2023 State MI . West Catholic will be favored, though this game is going to be another that decides the OK-Blue. The winner of this league is going to have to win these tough games.
(5-0) Comstock Park @ (4-1) Belding: The two leaders of the OK-Silver are matching up on Friday night. Comstock Park is a team loaded with seniors, led by DT James Pefley and K Jonathan Maldonano, and they’ve been blowing out most opponents. Although, Belding as been doing the same, with their only loss being a one-possession game against Sparta. Beldings sports a T-Wing offense led by a slew of RB’s.
(2-3) Grandville @ (3-2) Grand Haven: This is going to be a very interesting matchup as the red-hot Grandville Bulldogs go on the road to face a solid Grand Haven team. Grandville came out after their 2OT loss to Rockford and put a beatdown on Jenison, and it seems like they’re finding their stride. Grand Haven on the other hand lost to a Caledonia team that proved they belong atop the OK-Red. Look for Luke DeHann and Ashton Lepo Ashton Lepo 6'8" | 305 lbs | OL Grand Haven | 2022 State MI to have great games.
