Like every week there’s going to be a multitude of great games to watch, and hopefully, we’ll see another like Rockford-Grandville. Let’s check out 4 of the best games to watch this Friday.
Games to watch
(1-3) Holland @ (2-2) Union – Holland needs a big win and they could get it done against an inconsistent Union team. DL Dariel Song has an opportunity to have a great game and make Union’s offense extremely off balance. Holland needs this win for the playoffs. As for Union, they’ve shown strides and much promise under a new coaching regime. QB Tommy Stevens for Union needs to have the same performance as he did in week 3 against Mona Shores. It would be a massive accomplishment for Union to have a winning record.
(2-2) Grand Rapids Christian @ (1-3) Lowell – Both teams fighting for a playoff bid, this should be a great test for both teams. Lowell is better than the record would show, as they have losses against FH Central, Caledonia, and Mona Shores. DE Josh Rau has an opportunity to be a huge disruptor on the Lowell defense. Lowell has an easier second half, and they’ll be a fringe playoff team. As for GR Christian, they’ve won two straight as they’re looking to keep the winning streak alive. This should be a good game as both teams surely have a shot at the playoffs.
(2-2) Hudsonville @ (4-0) Rockford – In the fight for the OK-Red, the red-hot Rockford Rams could already practically clinch a playoff spot after this week. As for Hudsonville, they’ve also been hot winning two straight games against good teams. Rockford is going to be favored at home, but don’t count Hudsonville out of this one. Watch Zak Ahern Zak Ahern 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB Rockford | 2022 State MI again this week for the Rams, and MLB Matt Hoekstra has the opportunity for a big night for Hudsonville.
(4-0) Coopersville @ (2-2) Allendale – Coopersville is off to a blazing hot start, something that hasn’t been able to be said in years. DE Tim Allen leads the stifling defense that’s only given up 25 points all year. Allendale needs this one if they want any shot at the league as there’s currently a 4-way tie for 1st place. Allendale has a boom or bust offense, and they better have a boom-type of week this week. Cole DiPiazza Cole DiPiazza RB Allendale | 2022 MI is a difference-maker that could have a huge game this Friday.
