LANDEN CHAMBERS RB 6′ 205lbs KELLER FOSSIL RIDGE
Landen Chambers is a huge contributor to Fossil Ridge’s offense. Picking up 188 yards and 3 touchdowns on 19 carries in the win over Arlington highschool. While also having 3 receptions with 41 yards and another touchdown through the air, Landen Chambers is showing that he can do it all!
EULESS TRINITY LINEBACKERS
RICKY REYES LB 5’10” 210lbs
Reyes had 5 tackles 1 TFL with a sack in the week 3 win. A player that can get after the Quaterback and stop the run, Reyes seems to make a straight line right to the ball carrier.
NAI MOSE OLB 6′ 215lbs
Mose is the type of defender you have to game plan for. Off the edge rushing the quarterback he knocks people out of the way to either grab him or cause pressure. Knocking run blockers out of the way to get runningbacks. Finishing with 7.5 tackles 2 TFL and a sack still doesn’t tell the tale.
SOUTHLAKE CARROLL DEFENDERS
LUKE LEDBETTER DB
Ledbetter has great football instincts. Showing his athleticism on a play that combined pass rushing and ball concentration. Rushing the passer from the saftey position, tipping the pass and then finding the ball in the air to intercept his own tip ball! It’s a play I encourage yall to watch. I expect great things for ledbetter this season.
JOSH SPAETH DB
Josh Spaeth had an aggressive, go get the ball int in zone coverage early in the game. 3 solo tackles to go along with it. Southlake Carroll has a nice set of Defensive backs.
NATE GALL LB 6’1″ 210lbs
Gall is a versatile playmaking linebacker, he made that apparent in the week 3 win getting an interception and strip sack that went back for a touchdown. Gall is a turnover machine on defense!
AUSTIN COLEMAN RB 5’11” 190lbs KELLER HIGHSCHOOL
Coleman had an excellent game rushing for Keller in their 34-0 win over L.D. Bell. Picking up 143 yards on 24 carries and a touchdown in the win. A patient runner that let’s his blocks set up in front of him, Austin Coleman gets from point A to point B quickly, picking up chunks of yardage in the process.
GAVIN MCCURLEY WR 5’11” 175lbs BYRON NELSON
Mccurley was a terror for defenders , putting up 123 yards on 5 catches with a touchdown. A very hard reciever to cover, Mccurley will win 1 on 1s. Agility and change of direction is off the charts, showing that on his 41 yard touchdown catch where he caught the ball at the 20, then made 1 move and left 2 defenders on skates before he turns up field on his way to the endzone.
CHRIS GEE RB PASCHAL HIGHSCHOOL
Chris Gee does not like to go to the ground and he wont make it easy for defenders trying to stop him. Running for 185 yards on 21 carries and 2 Touchdowns. One of which went for a 94 yard touchdown showing he isnt just a power back, Gee has the speed to take it to the house!
AARON DARDEN RB 5’8″ 165lbs BYRON NELSON
Darden had a good game in week 3 running for 109 yards on 15 carries to go with 2 touchdowns in the win for Byron Nelson. An off tackle runner that has a good ability to find the endzone.
