Westside QB Peter Zamora Peter Zamora 6'0" | 200 lbs | QB Westside | 2022 State SC just kept throwing. The Rams’ signal-caller had a fantastic night against Byrnes, and Westside needed every single yard in a 64-62 shootout victory. Zamora threw for 388 yards on 21-for-28 passing, throwing touchdowns of 11, 12, 23, 21, and 61 yards.
Southside Christian’s Ja’Corey Martin Ja’Corey Martin 6'1" | 170 lbs | QB Southside Christian | 2023 State SC was phenomenal in the Sabres’ 23-15 win over 4A Greer. Martin threw for 212 yards and a touchdown in the win, adding 109 yards and two more touchdowns on 23 carries.
Thomas Williams Thomas Williams 5'11" | 170 lbs | RB Powdersville | 2023 State SC helped keep Powdersville undefeated with an all-around offensive performance. Williams rushed 14 times for 170 yards and touchdowns of 10, 10, 72, and 11 yards. He added a fifth touchdown on an 18-yard reception.
Riverside QB Rob Sanders added to the Warriors’ unexpected perfect start, throwing for 340 yards while tossing three touchdown passes and running for another in a 40-7 win over Eastside.
Wren jumped into the win column with a 55-28 victory over Easley, as Malachi Hill Malachi Hill 5'10" | 185 lbs | RB Wren | 2022 State SC led the way on the ground with 12 carries for 149 yards and two touchdowns.
