Calub Connell- Durant High
5’8 160lbs
Connell has come blazing out of the gates the first two weeks of the season. He’s rushed for over a 100 yards in both games. In two games he has 34 carries for 279 yards and 4 touchdowns while averaging over 8 yards per attempt. He shows good feet in the hole and despite his size will drop his shoulder and run through tackles. Doesn’t hesitate to try and pick up the tough yards, but also has the athleticism and agility to bounce runs outside.

Reggie Bush Jr.- Plant City High
5’8 177lbs
Bush had a breakout game in a dominant 21-0 win against Jefferson. He had 19 carries for 154 yards, two touchdowns and had one reception for 17 yards. He makes quick decisive cuts and eludes defenders with ease when he’s in the open field, and his acceleration stands out, he possesses unique balance and the ability to make something out of nothing with defenders bearing down on him.

Jaylin Thomas- Zephyrhills High
5’10 185lbs
Thomas had a dominating performance in week 2 and did it all with only 8 total touches. He rushed for 168 yards and had 257 all purpose yards. He’s a three-down back that can be used in the passing game, he runs with power and breaks tackles showing good balance and the ability to stay on his feet, he’s decisive and quickly hits the hole.

Luke Yoder- Palm Harbor University
5’11 195lbs
Yoder has burst on scene this season and had an outstanding week 2 performance in a win over St Pete. He had 30 carries for 205 yards and one touchdown! Yoder is a multi-purpose back that can run with power and also shows the natural running ability to make defenders miss in the hole, has a very impressive jump cut and also displays a good stiff arm. Excited to watch his progress this season.
