Let’s check out a few of the players who stood out in a HUGE way! <strong>Lee Wade</strong> | ATH | Kosciusko Junior Lee Wade had one of the biggest games of his young career last Friday. The all around athlete produced in every single facet of the game - scoring a touchdown rushing, passing, receiving, and on a pick six. This could be one of the best overall performances of the year. Wade is a player that will be included in our next rankings update. This kid has a ton of potential as a college prospect! [player_tooltip player_id="104209" first="Davis" last="Dalton"] | WR | Madison Ridgeland Academy Southern Miss commit [player_tooltip player_id="104209" first="Davis" last="Dalton"] was back in full force this past week, totaling 8 catches for 177 yards and 3 TDs. Dalton has some of the best ball skills in his class and knows how to make plays in the open field as well. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="161267" first="Jalen" last="Washington"]</strong> | RB | Houston This sophomore back has been one of the hottest rising stars in the 2024 class. Against Corinth, Washington totaled 20 carries for 350 yards and 5 TDs. Washington has great speed and burst and can make defenders miss in space. Although he lists no offers right now, expect that to change soon. Division 1 schools will be calling this guy’s name in a matter of time. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="104546" first="Jerry" last="Johnson"]</strong> | ATH | Pearl In Pearl’s big win over Biloxi, it was the [player_tooltip player_id="104546" first="Jerry" last="Johnson"] show. The senior changed his position to quarterback in the offseason and the results have been unreal. Johnson totaled 313 yards, 3 passing TDs, 1 rushing TD, and an INT on defense this past week. With his speed and ball skills, Johnson has shown he can play any position at the next level. Love this guy’s tape and excited to watch him continue to dominate. [player_tooltip player_id="119867" first="DK" last="Jenkins"] | QB | Mendenhall Sophomore quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="119867" first="DK" last="Jenkins"] put up huge numbers this past week, totaling 285 passing yards, 5 TDs, and 65 rush yards. The true dual threat has been one of the most impressive 2024 quarterbacks and has been doing this since he was a freshman. Big time rankings riser soon. The sky is the limit for this guy. [player_tooltip player_id="104069" first="Deandre" last="Smith"] | QB | Greenville Christian When is Smith going to stop making this list? Although we try to highlight everybody, it is impossible to not be impressed by the senior quarterback every week. Against 6A powerhouse Oak Grove, Smith totaled 304 passing yards and 2 scores, while rushing for 122 yards and 4 scores. Only a matter of time before the big time schools come after this guy.
