Jaxson Moi Jaxson Moi 6'2" | 250 lbs | DL Cathedral Catholic | 2022 State CA – DL, Cathedral Catholic
The Cal commit proved why he’s one of the best DL in the state in Cathedral Catholic’s dominant 52-0 victory over Helix last Friday. Moi shut down an early scoring opportunity on Helix’s opening drive forcing a fumble on 4th and goal from the 6-yard line. Later in the game he produced his 2nd INT of the season making an impressive read on a RB screen and flashing length and verticality getting up for the ball. Cathedral Catholic will need another dominant performance from Moi in a big game this week vs. De La Salle.
Forced fumble on 4th and short and my 2nd interception of the year. Just a few of my highlights from this game. Blessed and grateful for my team❤️ @Donsfootball @cchsloslocos @Daygofootball pic.twitter.com/jMfVghcMmZ

Griffin Grant Griffin Grant 6'4" | 200 lbs | DB Torrey Pines | 2022 State CA – DB, Torrey Pines
Grant has been a steady presence in the secondary for Torrey Pines this season and one of the standout DBs in San Diego. Last week, he racked up 13 tackles and 1 INT in the team’s 26-6 win vs. Poway. Grant currently holds an offer from local SDSU but should start seeing his recruitment heat up before the season ends.

Malachi Keels– ATH, Orange Glen
Keels was a standout on both sides of the ball for Orange Glen with almost 200 yards and 2 TDs on offense and posting 7 tackles and a forced fumble at safety. He’s an aggressive tackler in the secondary and plays with great instincts and athleticism in coverage. Keels should be considered one of the most athletic, underrated two-way players in San Diego.
Christian Aguilar– LB, Eastlake
Aguilar and teammate Jayden Cortell have been impact players on defense for Eastlake through the team’s first four games. This past week Aguilar posted 11 tackles and an INT in Eastlake’s shutout victory over Granite Hills. He’s shown versatility this season as a persistent tackler in the run game and improved skills in coverage.

Griffin Ramos– DB, Mt. Carmel
Ramos, a sophomore CB, turned out a productive game for Mt. Carmel in their second straight shutout victory and fourth straight win to start the season, beating Valhalla 38-0. Ramos posted 2 INTs for the defense, the first coming on a short slant route that he brought back to the opponent’s 10 and the other on a deep post over the middle which he snagged out of the air with one hand. His two INTs last Friday gives him 3 total INTs on the season with the other coming on a pick-six vs. Patrick Henry.
More Notables:
Jordan Dwyer- DB, Mission Hills
Donny Couts- LB, Coronado
Dominick Wright- DB, Eastlake
