After some additional film study, off-season tracking, and offers, PRZ Maryland made some adjustments to the rankings. Below are some of the athletes who saw their stock go up as a prospect.
No. 1 Dani Dennis-Sutton Dani Dennis-Sutton 6'6" | 240 lbs | DL McDonogh | 2022 State MD | 6-6 | 240 | DL | McDonough
Previous ranking: No. 3
Dennis-Sutton committed to Penn State on July 22. Unfortunately, Dennis-Sutton injured himself during the preseason and will miss several games. That won’t stop him from being our No. 1 player. He is a physical freak of nature.
No. 6 Cameron Johnson Cameron Johnson 5'11" | 160 lbs | DB St. Frances | 2022 State MD | 5-11 | 160 | DB | St. Frances
Previous ranking: No. 12
Johnson committed to Virginia Tech on Aug. 14.
No. 8 Anto Saka Anto Saka 6'4" | 215 lbs | LB Loyola Blakefield | 2022 State MD | 6-4 | 215 | LB | Loyola Blakefield
Previous ranking: No. 9
Saka is a Northwestern commit.
No. 13 KJ Winston KJ Winston 5'11" | 180 lbs | DB Dematha | 2022 State MD | 5-11 | 180 | DB | DeMatha
Previous ranking: No. 17
Winston committed to Penn State on July 31. We moved him up because his recruitment picked up over the last several months and he increased his value being recruited as an athlete.
No. 13 Joshua Thompson Joshua Thompson 6'2" | 190 lbs | DB St. John's | 2022 State MD | 6-2 | 190 | DB | St. John’s
Previous ranking: No. 25
No. 14 Jacob Sacra Jacob Sacra 6'5" | 300 lbs | OL St. Frances | 2022 State MD | 6-5 | 300 | OL | St. Frances
Previous ranking: No. 20
Sacra is an East Carolina commit.
No. 15 Jayden Sauray Jayden Sauray 6'0" | 200 lbs | QB Wise | 2022 State MD | 6-0 | 200 | QB | Wise
Previous ranking: No. 18
No. 16 Ike White Ike White 6'0" | 175 lbs | WR St. Frances | 2022 State MD | 6-0 | 170 | WR | St. Frances
Previous ranking: No. 21
White, who is a Minnesota commit, is one of the best downfield blockers at the wide receiver position that I’ve seen in the 2022 class at his position. White has gotten stronger, faster, and is ultra-quick, coming in and out of his cuts. He’s no wear close to reaching his peak and will shine amongst a star-studded wide receiver group for St. Frances. He was open on a few passes against St. Thomas Aquinas this past weekend, but the quarterback could not get him the football.
No. 20 Tyrin Woodby Tyrin Woodby 6'1" | 170 lbs | DB St. Frances | 2022 State MD | 6-1 | 170 | DB | St. Frances
Previous ranking: No. 27
No. 24 Jude Bowry Jude Bowry 6'5" | 285 lbs | OL St. Frances | 2022 State MD | 6-5 | 285 | OL | St. Frances
Previous ranking: No. 33
No. 32 Lavain Scruggs Lavain Scruggs 6'2" | 185 lbs | DB Archbishop Spalding | 2022 State MD | 6-2 | 185 | DB | Archbishop Spalding
Previous ranking: No. 40
Scruggs has been recruited by schools as an athlete. He committed to Maryland on Jul. 16.
No. 39 Terron Kellman Terron Kellman 5'10" | 190 lbs | RB St. Frances | 2022 State MD | 5-10 | 190 | RB | St. Frances
Previous ranking: No. 56
To tell you the truth, he still may be underrated on this list. A lot of it is because he shares carries with a few other St. Frances teammates. He can beat defenders to the corner and is physical and tough enough to do damage in-between the tackles. He has one offer from Boston College, but I am sure that’ll change in the upcoming months.
