Wayne Takeaways
- Great defense, The Blue Devils were able to force some turnovers and to keep the Brave’s offense from doing much.
- Keep the tempo up Wayne’s Offense was there when it counts but they had large periods where they barely had any movements. If they can keep scoring they can put games away a lot faster.
- If they can get their rushing game and the offensive line to push and keep the ball moving. Control of the ball and playtime helps set up their great passing game even more.
Battle Creek Takeaways
- Their defense did as well as they could do. They put up a fight and were able to keep Wayne from scoring throughout the game.
- Turnovers cost them the game. The interception in the 4th quarter is really what ended the game. Amick has shown his talent and should be able to learn and bounce back.
- This was a hard-fought game and both sides of the ball showed their best. Battle Creek has good receivers and running backs. If they can get all cogs working they can still make it all the way to lincoln this fall.
