Brayden McKenna Brayden McKenna 5'10" | 180 lbs | RB Lapeer | 2022 MI – Lapeer – RB – 5’11″ 190 lbs
McKenna went wild on Friday and he literally could not be stopped. He’s a very good athlete and explosive enough to succeed in the A gap just as much as he can in the C gap running zones. He ran for 220 yards, 2 touchdowns, and caught 4 passes with 120-yards and 2 more touchdowns. He was a 1-man wrecking crew and put on a historic performance.
Owen Emmendorfer – Hill McCloy – SB/CB – 5’8″ 165 lbs
The entire offense was a machine on Friday, but Emmendorfer was the oil that made the engine go. He was able to rush for 128-yards while getting 4 touchdowns. It seemed that every time he touched the ball, he ended up in the endzone. They blew out Byron by 67-0 and Emmendorfer even had a 2 point conversion just because he could.
Rafael Woods Rafael Woods 5'10" | 170 lbs | WR New Lothrop | 2022 MI – New Lothrop – RB/WR – 5’10″ 145 lbs
Woods was all over the field on Friday making plays. He lined up at both WR and RB and made huge plays in both spots. He broke a 77-yard touchdown run and then turned around and caught a long touchdown pass at WR. They won by 58 and Woods was the chain mover for New Lothrop. He looked great and the offense was centered around his skillset.
Micah Miller – Brandon – QB – 6’3″ 180 lbs
Miller put on a clinic Friday and it was truly a sight to see. He dang near almost threw a perfect game with no incompletions. It looked like he was playing 7 on 7 against the JV squad. He lit up the defense for 6 touchdown passes. He had more touchdowns than he did incomplete passes. It was quite the performance and definitely worth noting to have others go watch.
Kaleb Bellaflores – Bendle – QB/RB – 5’8″ 155 lbs
Bellaflores is the offense for Bendle. He is a threat to pass or throw on every play and it all looks the same so it is hard to diagnose before it’s too late. He had 245 total yards. 91 passing yards and 154 rushing yards for a few touchdowns. The read-option with him at the helm was practically unstoppable and it showed Friday.
