Very active player that brings speed to power, very physical and does an outstanding job using his hands to get off blocks and get to the ball, shows good strength and a powerful punch to shock lineman when he engages. Player to watch out for this season.
Tyler Geary- JW Mitchell High
6’1 205lbs
Geary is off to an outstanding start for Mitchell High this season. With a Mitchell team losing a lot of senior leadership last year Geary has stepped up. He’s second on the team in tackles with 18 and has chipped in with 7 tackles for loss, and is leading the team with 6 sacks through three games. Geary is quick off the snap showing acceleration and burst off the snap, big play defensive player that’s constantly in the opponent’s backfield, does a good job slicing through blocks and getting to the ball-carrier. Smart player with a 3.4 GPA.
