Brandon Mann Brandon Mann 6'4" | 225 lbs | QB Detroit Country Day | 2022 State MI – Detroit County Day – QB – 6’4″ 225 lbs
Brandon is one of the most exciting prospects in the area. He’s a dynamic athlete and breaks big plays with his legs on the regular. The first month of the season has been no different and teams are starting to take notice. Mann came into the year with offers from Findlay and Northwood, both are great Division 2 schools. He now also has offers from Bowling Green, Kent State, and Northern Illinois. Mann is a ton of fun to watch and whoever gets him lands a prospect with elite upside.
Camren May Camren May 6'5" | 255 lbs | OL Detroit Southeastern | 2022 MI – Southeastern – OT – 6’6″ 283 lbs
May has been fantastic and is always setting the edge for the offense. When you have someone with his size and athleticism you run behind him. He’s been opening the holes and creating the gaps that the offense needs. May does his job and does it well. He’s effective and once he latches on to a defender they don’t escape. May has his eyes set on some HBCU schools. He’s sitting on offers from Alabama A&M, Alabama State, Bethune-Cookman, and Howard. May has been excellent to start this year and I don’t expect that to change.
Terence Maize Terence Maize 5'11" | 290 lbs | DL Detroit King | 2022 State MI – Martin Luther King – DL – 6’1″ 290 lbs
Maize is great on the inside of the line. He’s consistent and forces pressure in the A-gap on a regular basis. He can play nose, but he’s best at the 3-tech. Maize has had a great season to this point and is a regular issue for opposing offenses. He’s a 2-star recruit and now has offers from Davenport, Lawrence Tech, and Northwood.
Kam Davenport – Catholic Central – WR – 6’1″ 180 lbs
Davenport has recently made the transition from defense to offense and he is thriving. He’s getting open and making plays on a regular basis. He’s shown great speed and the ability to take any pass to the house. Since his success at WR has been so fast and so quick, he’s now sitting on offers from Bowling Green, Lake Erie, Lawrence Tech, and Saginaw Valley State. It’s clear he can play and has a ton of raw potential. He’s had a great first month or so of the season.
Willie Rush III Willie Rush III 6'1" | 230 lbs | LB Detroit Community | 2022 MI – Detroit Community – LB – 6’1″ 230 lbs
Willie Rush III Willie Rush III 6'1" | 230 lbs | LB Detroit Community | 2022 MI spent his offseason putting in the work and getting in shape for the season. He’s arguably in the best shape of his life and it’s shown on the field. He’s been able to fly around the field making more plays because of being in better shape. He still isn’t great in coverage but he’s more than capable of defending the TE. He currently doesn’t have any D1 offers but he did recently get an offer from Northwood. By season’s end, he’s going to have more offers.
