The Cardinal Ritter Lions blew past Borgia in a 50-0 shutout on Friday.
The Lions were perfectly balanced on both sides of the ball, where they had superstars everywhere on the field. The first set of the game, the Lions set the tone, and they consistently kept the energy the whole game.

<strong>Cardinal Ritter</strong>
<strong><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-199733" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/redzone/uploads/2021/09/IMG_8576.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" />WR [player_tooltip player_id="37669" first="Fredrick" last="Moore"] c/o 23.</strong> Moore had a field day against the Knights. The young 6-foot-2 receiver had two amazing catches leading to touchdowns and showed off his athletic ability on punt returns. Moore couldn’t be beat in one-on-one coverage, and he has great concentration on the ball.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>
<strong>RB [player_tooltip player_id="199968" first="Artrell" last="Miller"] c/o 22.</strong> Miller ran hard every play. The Knights had no answer on how to stop the Lions’ run game. Miller had a couple great runs that led to touchdowns, and he showed how elusive he can be when running with the ball.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>
<strong>ATH [player_tooltip player_id="99469" first="Marvin" last="Burks"] c/o 23.</strong> Burks showed his athletic ability everywhere on the field. He stood out on<img class="size-medium wp-image-199734 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/redzone/uploads/2021/09/IMG_8519.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" /> both offense and defense. Burks had a sack and a couple big hits on defense and scored on a jet sweep, breaking numerous tackles and jogging into the end zone with no problems.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>
<strong>DB [player_tooltip player_id="199969" first="Mike" last="Tillman"] c/o 23.</strong> Tillman is agressive on defense. He laid some big hits on blitzes and made a big time sack near the end of the first half. Tillman has great pursuit, and he is very disciplined.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>
<strong>Borgia</strong>
<strong>DB [player_tooltip player_id="126220" first="Koen" last="Zeltmann"] c/o 24.</strong> Zeltman gave the Knights a little momentum in the second quarter. He caught an interception off a tipped pass, and he had two tackles. Zeltman showed great pursuit and never gave up.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>
<strong>DL [player_tooltip player_id="199972" first="Tony" last="Fortner"] c/o 22.</strong> Fortner led his team in tackles with four total. He made a couple of good stops on defense, and he set the tone for the Knights’ defensive line.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>
